Im rarely a fan of firing a coach after just one season. But I feel like this was less about scheme and play calling, and more about how players responded to Lake. I think this was also a PR move. I think Robert Saleh would be interesting choice, but im pretty sure he'll be a head coach again soon.
I expect Jell Ulbrich since there is nobody more familiar to the falcons defense than Jeff Ulbrich and until they think outside the box, Atlanta is going to keep hiring retrend coordinators. I am good with Dennis Allen since he knows the division so Atlanta can “outrun the south”, his dad was a former falcon and this time I expect a veteran DC so Raheem does not take command like he did with Jimmy Lake. Steve Wilks is another good candidate. (Saleh is going to San Francisco so stop with that nonsense.)
