@FlourgoldWizards I'm sure it does. I've played in little creeks and rivers my entire life. Most people would be surprised at the strength of the current in some of them, especially with a rush of snow melt, or a very heavy rain... stay safe, and keep the gold piles coming!

Crazy u guys can find bedrock just across the pond. In Michigan there’s no chance anywhere u would come across bedrock. Google says it’s 16k ft down which doesn’t make sense either but u ain’t finding any across the pond. 😂

Do some research on a meteor or asteroid "big rock from space" that crashed in Ontario or Quebec Canada. It moved a lot of rock into Michigan and Wisconsin. I watched a documentary on it and the rock looks similar. The rocks might have a different origin than you'd expect. Might be worth looking into. I watch all your videos. "cobles buddy".

Hi Jason! I just got my FGW micro clean up sluice today, and a thought occurred to me. Does it matter to the sluice or the diamonds if I use city water instead of well water? I was wondering about the chlorine content of the water. Thanks, Chris

I'll bet you've got a big container of black sand you're saving to someday recover the gold you lost in process of panning, sifting, sweeping the shop, that's so small you'll be weeks trying to find a ay to get out of it. That's why it's so important to use the inside bend, it won't let you down, you don't use a spoon, you use a scoop and dump it in. 5 gallons an hour. No more loses. I see guys all the time. I just can't watch, to painful. After this I'll be scared for life.

Now that’s a great looking location wizard, I would have done the exact same thing, start in the deep Crevis looking for that bigger gold and then move to the side for that small gold drop outs, you always have the solution for the problem that’s what makes you the Wizard brother. Very nice new fridge. If that's a wine type fridge that only has magnet strips to keep it closed (which don't tend to be very strong), you might want to put a latch on it. I have a wine fridge from 20 years ago that had terrible ratings for burning out after a year, but it was easy to tell it wasn't super closed so it ran all the time. A small jewelry box latch and it's still running perfect. Barely ever comes on.

I apply stickers to sheet magnets and cut them out, then when your cobble storage unit fails you can just transfer the magnets.

I'm up north Ashland Co, never found any but it's always been interesting. Watch your show, but what do you do after you get the tiny chips, melt them somehow or the after process would be interesting. I know there's gold here think I know a spot or two but no clue how to go about it.

Downstream of Boulders is what they told me to work also. If you think about it the upstream side is good also. The water hits the Boulder and forms a dead zone of current because it has to go around.😊

Sticky Clay is like glue to gold and will hold any gold that contacts it and falls in between rocks in that area, you need a small suction dredge or other suction device if its legal there and suck all the clay and (the good stuff) out into a large tub to bring back and clean at the home station. No gold here in Kansas to speak of but I enjoy watching others dig for it. First time viewing and just Sub'd.

I spent all day doing yard work and today I am going to run material ⛏️ down to concentrates. Takes 1.5 hours to run a pan of crushed red granite and clay. Full of black sand and flower gold.

Looks like the high water action cleanly washed the bedrock, pushing the black sands and gold particles further down the washway ... and settling out in the flatter and slower water action.

Jason, the flour doesn't scoot along the bedrock like pickers and nuggets. The flour travels right up in the water column and gets deposited on the sand and gravel bars as the water recedes. The Snake near me is identical to where you're working, but bigger. Find bars where the water was when it was really high, and try those spots.

@@FlourgoldWizards The flour will be in paystreaks on the bars, the black sand the same. A strong magnet on a stick can help find the concentrations of black sand....the gold will be alongside the bs deposits.
The best bars are where the water tended to be still, with little waves from the current lapping at the bank. Places where another stream entered the river are especially good.
