Hendery was REALLY feelings his outfit 😭 He got into character and just went all out.
I think the reason behind why they dressed as these specific characters comes down to what was available that SM and/or the Stylists could probably get their hands on in whatever timeframe given. Why there specifically was an Alice costume is I believe because their original plan was to do a Alice in Wonderland or Queen of Hearts theme Tea party but they couldn't get the costumes and it became a Princess party instead. And they picked from what was available. Various members talked about this during interviews and livestreams last year.

sadly Winwin spent his birthday alone this year. Both him and Ten are in China right now but not in the same city. WW just started filming for his drama tho so I don't think he'll even be back for the NCT 2021 thing sm is planing...
Lucas does have pretty big eyes, he's said to look like Minho from Shinee and honestly I think it's the eyes.
