A moody, dark and romantic themed haul would be so helpful! I’m in the planning stages of my wedding now (which we just postponed again, sadly). We’re going for that look with a bit of an earthy witchy vibe and some celestial elements mixed in. This was an awesome haul - perfect for a friend of mine. I’ll have to send her the video.
Saying how handing over a white flower girl basket to a 4 year old, the basket isn’t going to stay white for long. Gave me instant flash back to being a flower girl when I was 5 and swinging the basket around my head (before the wedding) and dirt going everywhere, as I didn’t think the flowers would be real as they was in a basket 😂
With the wood rounds, if you're on a budget (like I am) ask around. A friend of mine actually had a tree in her yard she had to have cut down anyways and she asked the people who cut it down to leave a few logs behind. I took them to my uncle who cut them for me and got them 100% for free. Ask around!

For wooden rounds, if you are near a farmers market or you know a local woodsman, go to them directly for wood. I got 15 rounds for 40 bucks and they were bigger then the ones jamie is showing. Something to keep in mind if they weren't dried yet so I had to wait a few months and they weren't nicely sanded down so we did that ourselves but we already owned the sander so, didnt cost us much more then the 40 bucks, a few hours, and the cost of sand paper Side note: some local woodsman will be able to sand/"plane" the wood and make it smooth. Just depends what wood you want :)
I’m almost positive I got that same silver dollar eucalyptus and I bought a different type of eucalyptus as well and wove them together and it looked so much better

I know AliExpress is very hit or miss in the wedding world, but as someone who's been buying from there for years and just got engaged, it's an amazing place to get your faux florals, especially instead of a site like Amazon where the same products are just marked up in price. Most of the products from Amazon are made in China anyways so buying from AE you're essentially bypassing the crazy markup. My tips: Make sure to filter search results by # of orders, and from there only buy from listings that have a large number of orders as well as picture reviews, that way you can actually see the product you're getting as sometimes the pictures aren't always accurate. Always order sooner rather than later as you're sacrificing shipping speed for a better price-for the smaller items it can take up to 30-60 days to arrive.
