Don't loose believe in yourself people! You can be whatever you wanna be as long as you get those hands of your moving and working math as fast as your mind is thinking! Goodluck

I received an aerospace education in another country as a specialist, and rn work in that sphere. I've been working in this field for a couple of years and I didn't have to use higher than basic math at university as I do workflow modeling. Basic math it's pretty enough for a part of aerospace engineering.
It sounds like you didn’t get an engineering degree, instead you got some other technical degree. An aero engineering degree usually requires Calc I, II, and III, matrix algebra, and differential equations.

damn man i was really confused of which stream i shld take in 11th and you showed the right path for me , all of the thigs u said perfectly lines up with my life but i would like to know a little more about these
So, I am really in love with physics and the universe. Kinda cliche, I know, but since I visited the Griffith Observatory, I've been fascinated about it. Specially 'cause there are so many mysteries to be found out. But, in my country, being a theorical physicist won't get you anything. I would probably be a high school teacher, something that I'd absolutely hate, or a very low payed researcher. Not for me, sorry. Even though I love physics and astrophysics, I love economical stability better. So I found out Aerospace Engineering. It's not exactly what I want, I won't be learning that much about theory and would focus more on the mechanical part, but it actually interested me and I can see myself making aircrafts or other things. I was actually really obcecated on building robots when younger, and programming them, so I think it would be a fit. I still want to learn astrophysics, of course. I know it might be hard to get studies on the theorical field with a Engineering degree, but I would even study physics on university to get there someday. Engineering would be my money to get what I actually want.
Same.. I do love reading about universe space etc...I have interest in astrophysics but in Indian there is not much scope..and it requires PhD but my financial situation doesn't allow me to go for higher studies. I have to get a job. I am also interested in aeroplanes spacecraft so I will pursue engineering and for passion I will read about astrophysics myself.
I love to designing spacecraft and I am doing it since a 8th standard and now I am in 11th I still want to be aerospace engineer but I'm bad at math because if I create or design something different I want to make it a reality and most of it is all about space for me that's why I want to be a aerospace engineer
I am currently a Grade 12 student and graduating next month. I still haven't finalized the course I am going to study for university. I browsed through the school's page which I intend to apply and saw that they are also offering BS Aero Engineering. I got thrilled since I have been in love with planes, spacecrafts, and aircrafts so I jumped here in yt and searched for some vids related to Aero Eng, that basically explains why I am here now. I instantly got goosebumps and extra happy when you mentioned F1 because I'm a die hard fan of it 😭 Is this a sign? Because I'm also worried about all the maths I'm gonna get through. I am SO bad at mathematics.
I'm not going to lie to you but maths is a core component of the degree, however not many people are just naturally talented at it and everyone works to get good at it so I don't think you should be worried. As long as you pace yourself and prioritise your studies appropriately you will do very well.
Basically study mechanical engineering and get a degree on fluid mechanics ( it'll help to have a wider job market) my recommendation, make what best fits to you.

Everything 100% for me, ever since I was a kid, finishing my mech. engineering bachelor soon, trying to decide on a master subject, I do however might have a problem with working on military applications, being why Im hesitant.

I am really passionate for Aerospace Engineering and i have almost all the qualities you talked about but the only barrier is sponsorship......is there an alternative way i can pursue this course?
You could try to apply for degree apprenticeships, where you work for a company in the field of aerospace and they pay you to go to university as well.
Hi, I'm currently working on my AA at DSC and plan to transfer to ERAU afterward. I'm relatively good at math and have a good work ethic. My biggest worry is not being smart enough; I hear everyone say that it's really difficult and that the graduation rate is really low. Should I be worried?
Thanks for your video. I have checked all the points you made and will be entering University soon. I was told to enter a mechanical engineering program and later do my masters in aerospace engineering but I feel like I will miss out more if I don't start aerospace engineering from my first year in university. What are your thoughts on it?
Great question, I think that mechanical and aerospace cover more or less the same subjects, just that aero does focus more on aerodynamics where as mechanical is more tailored for someone wanted to go into a career of making machines which aren't aero or weight dependent. I'd say pick whichever you'd feel more motivated to study as I know people who did mech do aero jobs and people do did aero do mech jobs. So doesn't really matter which you pick as long as you are motivated to study it.
Currently finished my 12th grade and applied for aerospace engineering in a college... My classes will get start from next month.. I have a month gap.. I want to use them wisely... Can you say any topics that i should learn earlier, before starting my classes? Topics related to aerospace?
I'd say familiarise yourself with basic aerodynamics e.g Bernoulli's equation and what dynamic and static pressure is as well as gain a basic understanding of thermodynamics such as the various laws
Nice video! Got some questions: Future of an aerospace engineer? Does an Aerospace Engineering program have an electronics subject? How much should I study to succesfully complete Aerospace Engineering
Please clarify your first question. Yes, there are a few electronics modules you can choose during your degree. I think the amount you have to study varies per person, but on average I'd say doing a couple hours a day after lectures will be sufficient if kept up consistently.
Hi I know maybe I am late to this. But I discovered my passion to become an Aerospace Engineer. But the thing is that I am almost in my 40s and I have a Masters degree an M.S. In Aeronautics specializing in Space Operations, but I want to do engineering. I want to build more of that skill set to join NASA and want to work with NASA's Artemis Program. But the thing is with me is that It took me a long time for me to get to my Masters and even then its not enough. I love Aircraft, Spacecraft, Rockets, and I do love racing espically Formula 1 cars. I love fast vehicles including Supersonic and hypersonic aircraft and rockets. I am sorry if this is long but I am trying my best to enter with the Aerospace Industry (Space Sector) but its been difficult to get in. Also I do want to design different aircraft, rockets and spacecrafts again the thing is with me is that, I am a bit older but I am not sure on what to do. I graduated of a prestigious University. Sorry for the long response.
Hi Bryan, my son is at school for aerospace engineering at the UF and we don't know if NASA facility in Florida has any internship for sophomore students. Do you or others know anything about that?
I am terrible at maths but Rockets and spacecrafts fascinates me and from childhood i aspired to build and ang get engaged with these . So i should persue Aerospace OR NOT , I barely passed my high school exams .....
I'd say it would be challenging but when you are working in industry the level of maths you will need will be less than what you're expected to know at university. Consider doing an apprenticeship
So I'm in year 12 right now and it is reaching that stale state for a couple months. I do want to be an aerospace engineer in the future so I was wondering what areas of maths and physics can I learn right now to alleviate the learning stress in the future.
I'd say get a firm understanding of differential equations and calculus in general from maths, and for physics I'd say become proficient in mechanics since there will be a lot of this in Aerospace Engineering.
Mechanical engineers can easily work as aerodynamicists. It's pretty much the same degree tbh. We take plenty of thermodynamics and fluids just like aero. And mechanical engineers can work as aerospace engineers just as easily tbh
I am currently in 11th grade and thinking of pursing aerospace engineering. So my question is how much maths and how much computer programming or languages should i learn and how much should i put effort on making the physical things and how much effort should i put on my studies??
I'm in 11th grade in high school and I'm wanting to major in areospace. I was wondering what 3D modeling program do you use? I'm getting certified into solidworks
At the university I went to, I was taught SolidWorks, however the years groups that followed me all started to be taught Fusion360. However, I know that SolidWorks is widely used in industry.
I want to build satellites, deals with control systems in space vehicles , satellites etc.... So what engineering I choose, Electronics and Communication engineering or Aerospace engineering?
Hi, i'm currently a student in Germany and i am going to graduate in 3 years. I really love aerodynamics and am a rocket/plane and Car enthusiast. I am able to use 2 CAD Programs, Siemens Solid Edge and Fusion360. I also know how to use Autodesk CFD Ultimate. Do you think these things would be enough for an Aerospace Engineering Degree or should I try to learn more? I am quite good at physics and am really mitivated. I am good at maths but I don't have A s in Math, only B s. Do you think I could still study Aerodpace Engineering ?
i want to be an aerospace engineer solely because i love space and work on space craft should i still choose this career if i only want to be involved astronomically

Bro, I randomly selected to do aerospace in highschool cause it was one of the things that DIDNT cost 10$ - 20$ bro.. I'm cooked cause I barely got any talent for the listed things.
Thank you so much for this video sir I want to ask that can a physics graduate having Bs physics (4 years) can take admission in master Aerospace engineering? and if yes how much cgpa im bs physics will be required for Msc in aerospace engineering?
Hey man, great content. I'm just right in the middle of choosing my career path.. I just really love physics and space. But in my country we don't have much aerospace engineering clgs. So I am taking B.E aeronautical engineering, after that will I be able to do aerospace engineering as a PG course? Is that worth it?
Thanks :) In the UK aerospace and aeronautical are more or less the same thing, so not sure if that's the case for your country. In the UK you can do a masters in aerospace engineering after doing a bachelors.
Hi, I know this is one of your older videos but I was just wondering when you were doing aerospace engineering in uni what was your time table like? As in what time did you start your day at and what time did you finish at? Because I’m Irish and looking at doing aerospace engineering myself in uni but over here it’s 9am-5pm Monday to Friday so I’m just curious as to what it was like in the uk. Thanks for the great video too 😊
I’m in my final year of a Masters in aerospace, and whilst I am not the guy in the video, I happen to go to the same university as him (Sheffield). Hours trickle down as you go through the years. Years 1 & 2 tend to be quite intensive time wise (not necessarily difficulty wise). Maybe 9-5 a few days a week, although with frequent hour breaks throughout. However, as you get into your final years, you’re expected to spend less time in lectures and more time self-studying. For example, in my fourth year, I have maybe 5-8 contact hours a week. A significant proportion of this year is my masters project however, so it is mostly self-directed. When deadlines pick up, 9-5 throughout the week is relatively normal. You can definitely get away with less, it depends what you want out of the degree. I would wager I spend ~30-40hrs/week, maybe more towards the end of the semester. Any questions, feel free to ask and I’ll try to get back to you.
Do you think it is worth studying aerospace engineering if u want to study robotics after? I want to pursue aerospace because that is where my passion lies, but I am worried about the limited opportunities in the industry.
Currently researching on colleges to study aerospace engineering I’m confident in maths and physics and trying to apply in us and Canada but I don’t really have extracurricular I mostly spend my time studying, reading books ,playing chess or helping my father in work Currently I’m learning c++ and taking Ielts prep classes also preparing for sat(self study ) What are my chances for getting a scholarship? I’m obviously not going for ivy leagues or some top rated colleges but what are my chances for decent college Heard they put much emphasis on extracurricular and social work so I am kinda afraid
I wish I could advise you but I've never applied for university in Canada nor did I apply for a scholarship in a foreign university. I wish you all the best however!
Depends where you’re going but my university was one of the easiest ones to get into Ontario. Reading, playing chess and coding is really amazing for you because engineering is one of those courses that require lots of problem solving and logical thinking and all those skills you listed help tremendously with that. My university accepts anyone really especially because of covid, but places like Waterloo university (arguably the best engineering university in Canada) is much more strict. Usually university give you entrance scholarships based on your high school marks, apply for scholarships from the uni and outside of the uni, apply for bursaries and do good in uni
I excel at math and physics but I kinda lack in the building things department. Do you have any tips on how to improve my creative side or just get better at building things?
Hey Ricky and David, firstly if you've the academic proof you're capable definitely apply since that's the main thing that matters. I myself didn't have a massive amount of experience building physical things aside from doing DIY stuff. If you do want to improve your practical skills before university I would recommend perhaps building a drone from a kit. So you don't need to worry about having 3D printers and other machines, so it may be a relatively cost effective way to dabble with making something physical. Hope this helps :)
When I look into it, a lot of good aerospace industries are in America and countries in Europe, if you are not a citizen of these countries, is it still a good idea to take aerospace and go through the long process of getting into those countries? Because I'm a little discouraged after seeing how hard it would be.
Yes it is hard, is it worth well that is up to you. I personally left the idea of being an aerospace engineer for the reasons I talk about here: th-cam.com/video/JXViUm7I5tc/w-d-xo.html
I love planes and cars , I love building legos , I love everything you said int his video even maths , but I'm doing the IB and I didnt take advanced maths or physics, but I'm getting good grades in the maths I am currently In, is still a good idea?
I want to fly Helicopters. I know a lot about them from start up to flying to landing. Hovering not sure but would love a Helicopters Licence. Any ideas?
Hey I know this is a bit unrelated but I began a Physics Bachelor and I had to drop out... even though i've always been good at Math and Physics I did not understand a single bit of the theory in "Mathematical Analysis" and "Linear Algebra" can someone give me some advice or help? My main issue is that the first month we're thrown into the deep abyss of definitions and axioms and I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THAT... which points I should learn/keep and which points I can ignore....
I am interested in aerospace engineering more for the spacecraft side because im interested in space travel but if I was more interested in space would this be a good fit
Hi , What I intend to do is space research or building machines , rockets , mechanical systems used by the space industry like satellites, rovers etc. It's also my dream to join companies like JPL , Lockheed Martin etc. So does aerospace completely focus on aircrafts or is that something else called "aeronautical engineering " ? What should I pursue in engineering if I want a job in the space industry ?
Aerospace engineering deals with both Air and space while Aeronautical engineering is based on aircrafts and other atmospherical applications. You can choose the former.
Have you considered less academic routes, to get into the field? Apprenticeships may be a good option. It isn't a lesser way to get into the industry, simply because the entry is lower, it is simply lower because irl an engineer's role isn't as demanding as what you're asked to do in uni. Universities are teaching you how how to be engineering researchers rather than industry standard engineers.
Sir , I am kind off good at maths and phy but still not that confident. Can u pls advice me that in which areas must i be efficient enough to do my aerospace engineering perfectly..?
You do need to be proficient in Maths and Physics, but I feel that you can get there by just practicing questions often and learning from what you did wrong. The ironic thing is that when you go to work, you will use less complex maths that you do at university so you only really need to be awesome at Maths at university
I'm not trying to be too harsh, but there is a reason that sometimes these kinds of videos are not entirely accurate. The people in these videos tend to be very young. They are presenting their ideas of industry and not really the reality of how things work in the real world. They aren't going to know really about the industry vs an engineer in their 40s
I'm a sheet metal worker and work/produce complex fabrications to extreme tight tolerances....I didn't go to uni I did an apprenticeship....and I can tell you now that without shop floor experience aerospace engineers don't have a clue, might be good at maths and cad cam but hand's on skills are awful, they ask us how would you do that, but they then get the praise...and of course the bigger money and pat on the backs...
I completely get where you're coming from, in fact as an aerospace engineer myself, I have faced some hostility in the past from sheet metal fab, toolmakers, etc because they automatically assume you don't know how things actually work in reality. And for the most part, it is true, I know engineers who have never used a lathe or milling machine in their lives, but I would be careful in generalising, because one day you will come across one who does have that experience, and it can make you seem bitter.
@@onetrickhorse unfortunately it's the opposite, working with guys who don't know what they're to makes you bitter...I have worked with guy's who were excellent at there job in the past because they had shop floor experience as well as office... unfortunately bullying bosses didn't see it that way and made them redundant and brought there own guy's in . that's why we now don't win much complicated work now because they don't know how to do them... I love working with people who can do both, only if they know what there doing... otherwise it's like WTF...LOL
@@billybodgit6281 Well I must say that's a real shame to hear about your past experiences. I imagine that must be really frustrating to be honest, I can't stand things like that. My father always taught me that you should never ask anyone to do something you wouldn't be able to at least attempt yourself, and to make every effort to understand the process. And if I'm ever confused or don't understand something when talking to the guys on the shop floor, I always come right out and admit it, and ask them to show me so I understand it better, and they never mock me or refuse, they're always happy that I'm taking the time to understand and seek their advice. I also include the shop floor guys in the design processes too, from the start, so they can see what I'm doing and why, and they can tell me early on if I'm proposing something they feel is unrealistic. I learn more that way, they learn more about the design process, and everyone works better as a result. Plus, building a good relationship with the guys on the shop floors has more benefits than being friendly with seniors or execs, because they're the guys who make shit happen, and when I've got a super urgent bit of work I need doing, and I ask them to help me with it, if they've been a part of the design process, they're invested and more willing to help me. And I ALWAYS give credit where it's due too, so their bosses know the great work they've done. It's just the way I think it should be done personally.
@@onetrickhorse well done buddy, great to know there's still people like yourself out there willing to learn and also share your skills with fellow worker's...just wish management thought the same way(maybe in some companies they do,just not mine) we have now gone from high complex fabrications and machined components within the aerospace industry down to general fabrications due poor management because all the skilled guys/woman have been made redundant or sacked, only to be replaced with cheep foreign labor on cheap components....sad times 😥
@@billybodgit6281 Absolutely, and thank you for the kind words. I always learn something new on the shop floor I have to say, and to be truthful, even though I absolutely love my job, it does get boring staring at a screen all day or having Teams meetings all day. I know what you mean about management, I don't know where they lose that empathy, like were they always like that, or does it just suddenly happen when they rise the ranks? I completely sympathise too about the outsourcing too. I work for a major aircraft engine manufacturer here in the UK (no prizes for guessing which), and I must say, we are losing skills left right and centre, it sometimes scares the hell out of me who they'll let go. Like I find myself saying to myself, "that's the only guy around here who can actually do that thing, and you're letting them go?", and then inevitably when that thing needs doing and there's no one able to do it, we spend 3 times the money in hiring a specialist consultant or whatever, and usually we have to speak carefully to them because of the sensitive nature of the work, so it takes more of my time too. But that's what happens when the accountants have too much power and don't take the time to actually learn why things are the way they are. One day it will haunt us all though, just look at Boeing. Us engineers need to be listened to and taken seriously more often, after all, we'd still be stuck in caves without us! You seem like a good guy I have to say, and try to stay positive, don't let the b*****ds grind you down!
Thank you for the insights and advices. Though I would like to ask if it's possible to do masters in aerospace engineering after doing bs avionics engineering?
Hey I'm in my final year in my Computer science Bachelor degree program but I want to work towards an Aerospace degree, can I get a Master's degree in Aerospace engineering or do I have to go for extra classes
To do a masters in aerospace most universities look for mechanical, electrical or general engineering graduates. So it may be tricky. But I'd say email universities and ask them directly, they may be able to help you.
Do you want to be a software engineer in a aerospace company or actually become an aerospace engineer? If it is the latter I personally don't know a better way than do a BEng in aerospace engineering, do internships and then land a role in that industry as an aerospace engineer. I don't think it is as easy as someone going from another engineering discipline to software engineering.
@@SA64R sir my doubt is ,. Currently I am pursuing BTech in artificial intelligence and data science (2nd year) but I have keen interest in Aerodynamic specially military aircraft , can I just study advanced books and acquire knowledge without degree to open a startup with team . Please reply 🙏🙏
I Want to become a pilot as I’m very passionate about aviation but I’m also interested on aerospace engineering because it could be useful as a pilot, is it worth it?
I get asked this a lot and my honest answer is, implicitly it'll help you understand the theory of flight much more in depth. But explicitly your route to become a pilot is probably going to be longer since you will need to obtain a degree then join flight school and you don't need a degree to get into flight school
If you can offer a decent laptop then get a "gaming spec" laptop so decent graphics card (4 years old at most) and 16 GB ram plus a quad-core CPU. The high spec is so you can do your own fluids simulations and CAD work on your own machine if you need to. Also make sure its a windows computer as you'll struggle with software compatibility with Macs. Its common nowadays that unis have remote desktop, so you can use the better uni computers if your laptop cannot handle the computation power.
It'll likely be difficult, but why not try first to see how it is, if you succeed awesome if you don't at least you can say I tried what have you got to lose?
@SA64R thanks for responding, and someone told me that electrical engineering will be difficult, if I was only interested in the aerospace applications in electrical engineering.
Lmao I just finished this degree with most of these not in mind hahaha I was into med but switched to engineering coz of physical fatigue during my internship in a hospital in my SHS.
Having poor eyesight isn't a hindrance when getting into the aerospace industry as an engineer, if you want to be a pilot that's a different story. If you're good with maths then I would say go for it!
Don't loose believe in yourself people! You can be whatever you wanna be as long as you get those hands of your moving and working math as fast as your mind is thinking! Goodluck

i needed this so much, thank you!💯
I received an aerospace education in another country as a specialist, and rn work in that sphere. I've been working in this field for a couple of years and I didn't have to use higher than basic math at university as I do workflow modeling. Basic math it's pretty enough for a part of aerospace engineering.
Yeh I do agree, the most maths you encounter in your career is probably first and second year at uni
It sounds like you didn’t get an engineering degree, instead you got some other technical degree. An aero engineering degree usually requires Calc I, II, and III, matrix algebra, and differential equations.
Hey @user-zd4bv5pe5i can I ask you some questions?
@@obi-wankenobi1750 he either got the maintenance one or technical one for sure

Basically everything applies to me which reassures me I made the right decision. Thank you very much :)

damn man i was really confused of which stream i shld take in 11th and you showed the right path for me , all of the thigs u said perfectly lines up with my life but i would like to know a little more about these
Same but imma go to 8th next year
So, I am really in love with physics and the universe.
You are literally me
Same as my case
Exactly my case
Same as me
I have to do a 4 years degree before becomg a airline pilot outside the military route. This might have saved me a career I wouldn't like 😭💙.
Just go to school while u in the military
I love to designing spacecraft and I am doing it since a 8th standard and now I am in 11th I still want to be aerospace engineer but I'm bad at math because if I create or design something different I want to make it a reality and most of it is all about space for me that's why I want to be a aerospace engineer
It’s more about imaging and learning how things work than math!
Thank you Bro For the Really Informative Video!

@@SA64Rcould you provide some information about this?
I currently studying Aircraft Engineering but I am mostly concerned with "Job" availability.

I have all the stuff you mentioned except maths, so please do a video how to learn maths having a target doing of aerospace engineering.
Thanks Sagar really helped me .
your my role model

If anything this encourages me to pursue aerospace engineering
bro video helped me alot ..thanks bro.
Currently finished my 12th grade and applied for aerospace engineering in a college... My classes will get start from next month.. I have a month gap.. I want to use them wisely... Can you say any topics that i should learn earlier, before starting my classes? Topics related to aerospace?
Where did you did the admission dear...?
I'd say familiarise yourself with basic aerodynamics e.g Bernoulli's equation and what dynamic and static pressure is as well as gain a basic understanding of thermodynamics such as the various laws
I'm interested in aerospace but I'm a bachelor's in communication design student, I hope some day I can achieve my dream ❤
Nice video! Got some questions:
Future of an aerospace engineer?
Does an Aerospace Engineering program have an electronics subject?
How much should I study to succesfully complete Aerospace Engineering
Please clarify your first question.
Yes, there are a few electronics modules you can choose during your degree.
I think the amount you have to study varies per person, but on average I'd say doing a couple hours a day after lectures will be sufficient if kept up consistently.
Could you do a video on 3 year vs 4 year degrees? would be cool to see your perspective
Thanks for the suggestion will add it to the list!
Thing is I like space and planes and like science and love cars the only setback is I’m not good at maths
Do you or others know anything about that?
almost everything applies to me except the math part...Im about to pursue my engineering should I go with aerospace??
Can you please make a video about current situation of job market in aerospace industry in the UK?
I'll add it to the vids to make :D
I'd say get a firm understanding of differential equations and calculus in general from maths, and for physics I'd say become proficient in mechanics since there will be a lot of this in Aerospace Engineering.
yup he is right
Go back to your foundational math and get grounded in it you'll find out that math would be so much easier for you
I like both planes and cars alike so...
I'm trash at maths though guess I'm just gonna have to learn it
2:42 Ah yes...the Navier-Stokes eq...If anybody understood that at first glance then probably aerospace is the branch for you...
Mechanical engineers can easily work as aerodynamicists. It's pretty much the same degree tbh. We take plenty of thermodynamics and fluids just like aero. And mechanical engineers can work as aerospace engineers just as easily tbh
I’m not good at Maths and Physics at all! And I found maths and physics really hard. Should I still keep going with my major?
Hi sagaar can you teach me on aerodynamics am home schooling b4 joining the university next year
May I ask if calculus is relly that important to Aerospace engineering? To get me wrong, i love physics and math but calculus is kinda hard
Calculus is needed, its not avoidable I'm afraid to say
I have mostly everything but in math am not that good 😅 and am thinking about starting study aerospace engineering
My doubt is might i do master in aerospace engineering after bachelor in computer science
I'm good at math, but from the images you previewed, I don't think I'm THAT good at math....
I'd say don't stress, you will learn that level of maths when at university
I am currently in 11th grade and thinking of pursing aerospace engineering. So my question is how much maths and how much computer programming or languages should i learn and how much should i put effort on making the physical things and how much effort should i put on my studies??
Focus on maths first. Spend 50:50 between studies and learning practical skills.
im so bad in physic but i really want to do this degree im lost

Currently researching on colleges to study aerospace engineering
I’m confident in maths and physics and trying to apply in us and Canada but I don’t really have extracurricular
I mostly spend my time studying, reading books ,playing chess or helping my father in work
Currently I’m learning c++ and taking Ielts prep classes also preparing for sat(self study )
What are my chances for getting a scholarship? I’m obviously not going for ivy leagues or some top rated colleges but what are my chances for decent college
Heard they put much emphasis on extracurricular and social work so I am kinda afraid
I wish I could advise you but I've never applied for university in Canada nor did I apply for a scholarship in a foreign university. I wish you all the best however!
@@SA64R Thank you and
What about in USA ?
Depends where you’re going but my university was one of the easiest ones to get into Ontario. Reading, playing chess and coding is really amazing for you because engineering is one of those courses that require lots of problem solving and logical thinking and all those skills you listed help tremendously with that. My university accepts anyone really especially because of covid, but places like Waterloo university (arguably the best engineering university in Canada) is much more strict.
Usually university give you entrance scholarships based on your high school marks, apply for scholarships from the uni and outside of the uni, apply for bursaries and do good in uni
I am thinking about aerospace from IIT , I DONT KNOW IF ITS A GOOD DECISION
I excel at math and physics but I kinda lack in the building things department. Do you have any tips on how to improve my creative side or just get better at building things?
Same boat as you here, I'm fine with learning the theoretical side, but I do lack in any building experience aside from simple garden stuff.
Hope this helps :)
yeah my biggest fear going into aerospace other than having literally no life is being unethical...

I want to be an aerospace engineer but my maths is not good 😔
Have you considered less academic routes, to get into the field?
Very good ♥️
I'm not trying to be too harsh, but there is a reason that sometimes these kinds of videos are not entirely accurate.
I’m interested in Aeronautical engineering
Watching this as an aerospace engineer realizing this wasn't for me :/
I like formula 1 and space!
Thank you for the insights and advices. Though I would like to ask if it's possible to do masters in aerospace engineering after doing bs avionics engineering?
I think it should be ok, but just check directly with any universities you want to go to for that
What modelling software do you guys usually use?
Hey
I'm in my final year in my Computer science Bachelor degree program but I want to work towards an Aerospace degree, can I get a Master's degree in Aerospace engineering or do I have to go for extra classes
To do a masters in aerospace most universities look for mechanical, electrical or general engineering graduates. So it may be tricky. But I'd say email universities and ask them directly, they may be able to help you.
@@SA64R oh okay
Thanks 😊
yes, WE LOVE PLANES1!1!
I am good at maths but not that great in physics ... Will it help??
hi am a 35yr old software engineer and want to switch to aerospace engineering... what road map do you advise me to take?
I've never been someone who enjoys hands on building... should that rule out engineering for me?
Not entirely, a lot of engineering work is done on computers through CAD, CFD or other tools like that
Thank You
Which laptop is best for students who is studying aeronautical engineering?
If you can offer a decent laptop then get a "gaming spec" laptop so decent graphics card (4 years old at most) and 16 GB ram plus a quad-core CPU. The high spec is so you can do your own fluids simulations and CAD work on your own machine if you need to. Also make sure its a windows computer as you'll struggle with software compatibility with Macs. Its common nowadays that unis have remote desktop, so you can use the better uni computers if your laptop cannot handle the computation power.
"are you interested in planes" 😐
"Are you interested in cars" 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I am Interested in Space Robotics, so can i choose aerospace engineering at B.tech and then Robotics in Masters?
I don't think there's a one true path but what you said is definitely a great choice
@@SA64R thank you!

@@devpatel8453 i say it's best to study b.tech aerospace engineering in iit or iisc ....
Can you do is astrophysics for you cause I can't choose between aero and physic😅
So who was your role model in university and high school
Don't think I had a specific person, probably a combination of people form astronauts to tech billionaires
Yes its for me🙂
Hey I wanted to ask you that if I am weak at maths and I really want to do aerospace engineering should I do it??
It'll likely be difficult, but why not try first to see how it is, if you succeed awesome if you don't at least you can say I tried what have you got to lose?
hi mate! im not good at math and physics.. can i have a chance? but, i've interest in aircraft or cars..
It may be challenging, but I'd say it's best to give it a try than not try at all
Nice video, I have a question: if I was interested in avionics, is aerospace engineering the right major?
Yes, though you may also want to consider something like mechatronics or electrical engineering
@SA64R thanks for responding, and someone told me that electrical engineering will be difficult, if I was only interested in the aerospace applications in electrical engineering.
Why would you be Against defense? To aid in the defense of a nation is something to be proud of
Lmao I just finished this degree with most of these not in mind hahaha I was into med but switched to engineering coz of physical fatigue during my internship in a hospital in my SHS.
I am a student at class 12 and I want to pursue aerospace but I have poor eyesight. However I'm good at math, should I pursue aerospace engineering?
Having poor eyesight isn't a hindrance when getting into the aerospace industry as an engineer, if you want to be a pilot that's a different story. If you're good with maths then I would say go for it!
@@SA64R Thanks. I'm going for it💯
