at least he’s being honest
Literally bro
Is he? 3 weeks ago he said they were important parts of the team 😂 guys waffling through like Clearlake
ASWEAR
Lmao people confusing honesty with arrogance
@@chrispratt3888 yes I do, some players will just have to get cut from the team as Chelsea is just too big
Todd did more damage in 2 years than Glazers did in the last 20
In the last 20 years Cheasea won some trophies and if I remember, the squad was legendary. There are both good and bad times for anyone. Glazers were just fine.
@mnd7381 because they still had their good Russian owners then
Mate, no.
Not “did” but “is doing”… bro isn’t done yet😅
@@AbCd-lw5vs😂😂😂
He’s not brutal he’s a puppet for decisions above
exactly what else could he say
I agree
@@yuni360back his own words few weeks ago that Sterling was an important part of the team.
All managers are puppets
Raz isn’t good enough and his wage is crazy, any Chelsea fan should agree this is a good thing
Sterling like lukaku are one of those players who get a lot more disrespect than they deserve,I mean this guy has been in the epl for years putting up top level performances but for some reasons his mistakes always get amplified more than his positives and apparently he's not good enough to be in the squad ahead of a Neto and a mudryk
Sterling is not his best anymore lets be honest and thats for a long time. Lukaku is just a fraud with all the respect.
It’s top level football where any mistake can cost a season. It’s cut throat and should be like that when they’re on the wages they have. Sterlings performances through his whole Chelsea career have been nowhere near his best and it’s not Chelsea’s responsibility to help him find that best, it’s their responsibility to put the best team out on the pitch every week.
@@mattcaveat43 I am not trying to make excuses for someone who makes more money than I probably ever would, I also think relative to his wages he's not doing good enough but the decision to cut him out doesn't seem planned and wasn't communicated appropriately to him and he's still better than whatever Chelsea is going to field on the LW imo
@@DL-yr6ne doesn't mean he deserves disrespect and lukaku is at worst a top 10 striker of the past decade
Lukaku is a whiny cry baby, good riddance
What is my football club doing buying 54 players and forcing the original ones out...
but one of those players *might* be vaguely decent at some point which makes 3+ years of playing like twats worth it
There now at the point were they are forcing players bought 1 year ago out.
I guess you know the meaning of original
Todd actually want to get rid of players sign under roman abrahamovic. He want his own players
@@laampards 3+ years? Bro Chelsea has been giving this INSANELY stupid contracts to these mid players, usually until 2029-30 or so. Even if they were promising young players, 6-7 years is very questionable. Except they don't look promising at all. It's a whole circus down there
What a toxic atmosphere in that club. Managers in and out, Academy graduates forced out, long serving players like chilwell forced out and treated like garbage. Boehly has set that club on fire and it’s burning to the ground.
This ownership will age like milk
Long may it continue 🙏

E-fukt 😅😂😂😂😂
😂
😂😂
Chelsea gonna need 22 a side games to keep their dead wood happy 😂
Pause.
And they’ll still manage to lose
They can register 2 teams in the lower leagues and they can come up to the top.
Subs need to be 12 so more chelsea players can play or have longer games.

I’m curious, if sterling + chilwell make combined 500k a week and aren’t even first choice, why is it bad to get rid of them?
@@pstratos7 Who says there are not first choice ? This guy gets sacked in a month and then what ?
Last season most of the goals came via, Sterling, Palmer, Chilwell, so they are good star premier league players,
Your manager is selling them to play who exactly ?
Poch put a decent squad together by the end of the season...and sad it is being destroyed by this idiot that thinks he only attribute is he is copying Pep
This is what you get when Americans no nothing about proper football.
"If they want minutes, better leave" then signs Joao Felix on a 7 year deal! lmao Chelsea FC, home to the stupidest transfers in modern football history!! How long till 100 million Euros player like Mudryk is also out? Lmao 😂😂😂
Chelsea signed 25 players on 7 year contract to exploit a loophole in FFP ( which has now been changed because of them) now they’ve got 15 players training separately from the first team. The UK government really ruined Chelsea football club 😂
@@alexbelotti1603 this stuff happened under Roman too.......
Same club that has been enjoying sugar daddy money for 20yrs. Fans will have to take the good and the bad with it.
Todd Boehly basically broke up a very good champions league winning team that only needed a few additions here and there
and replaced them with unproven pups.
Putin ruined Chelsea.
@@err4071In the yank we trust! 🤣 🤣.
Wow, this club is in severe shambles, just WOW😂😂
Shambles? because he wants 2 trash players out? unlike Man United keeping McTomainy/Maguire/Rashford for years even if they are garbage? This manager with this call on Raheeem/Chillwill will change a lot of things
Just saying l, Chelsea put themselves in to this situation and they have to get themselves out
Man U and Chelsea have horrible transfer situations,
You can't even blame the managers, these deep puddles of problems start long before their job.
And they are expected to dig them out of those trenches in unachievable amounts of time
Straight to the point 😂
Not a fan of this guy ngl. A bit of compassion for the players who are being left out would go a long way imo
I hope Chelsea FAIL badly this season
You can just start supporting Liverpool if you are tired of chelsea
@AeonBlue-e1m no one's scared of Chelsea anymore lol
absolute joke of a club
if i was raheem sort a loan till january or end of the season. they will have a new manager by then and another 15 signings..or better yet sign for somone else and watch chelsea scramble to sign him again in a year
He ain't brutal. He's savage 😬
Can't call him savage until he wins something
He is stupid man!
The Chelsea board are savages, Maresca is just the trigger man.
It's refreshing seeing a manager being honest 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
It's refreshing seeing Chelsea maintain their mid-table mediocrity. The decline is beautiful
Am so sorry but I have to say this. Maresca is stupid, he said he prefer different types of winger, that Raheem is going to struggle to get minutes. Can someone tell me who is better than Raheem Sterling in that wing position in chelsea right now. I think this is the beginning of failure for Maresca at chelsea if he doesn't like or use player like Raheem Sterling. Except if he actually knows what he's doing. Let's wait and see what he wants to do.
are you sure you been watching Raheem play the past 2-3 yrs? when was his last successful 1v1? duals? through pass? amazing cross? injuries? goals? assists? leadership on the pitch? I agree he’s a good lad outside of the pitch but on that weekly wage it’s never sentimental
Theyre clueless, they bought Pedro Neto for 60 million a winger who only managed to score 11 goals in 5 season with the Wolves. That's an average of about 2 goals a season, but he likes a different kind of winger, one that doesn't score goals? Some of these managers egos are getting crazy. They actually believe that a teams success is all about them, and they can take any player player and make them good.
@craizzyblue your name confirms you are indeed crazy.....
@@presidentofpeace2556 haha thanks mate i wouldn’t say no to a compliment 😅
I think this guy has a personal grudge with sterling because he was the only one he confronted and remember he with man city when sterling left , how can you bench sterling for neto
Love this manager spot on and I can see the hate returning with force from rival clubs ...I love it 😂😂😂😂
"So they're no longer Chelsea players?"
"Well of course they are. They just won't ever set foot on a pitch in a Chelsea shirt again 👍"
Freezing out Chilwell is outrageous behaviour. He’s been a loyal blue and a Champions League winner. Sterling training separate after being a little bitch with his statement & his crazy wages is fair enough.
Chilwell plays about 5 games a season before his hamstrings go twin towers and he’s out for another 9 months. Why should he stay?
Sadly hes not as good as he used to be and riddled with injurys, time to cash in now before he goes for free.
sterling was thier best player before palmer arrived
@@zorenwhite7886so why did you buy Pedro Neto considering his injury record?
@@alexbelotti1603 Why are you asking me like I’m the Chelsea board lol? I’m simply saying it’s completely rational to sell Chilwell since he isn’t capable of offering the club game time. I never mentioned Neto
This is wild, if a players comes out to the media about being unhappy he gets criticised. But it's OK for a manager to tell the media he can go with no issues
Media: do you see yourself as brutal???
Such top quality journalism! Deserves an award.
How does a manager of football treat his players like that? I doubt this man to succeed in football.
The amount of players currently Chelsea has available for the first team, they can field 4 teams. How do you suppose a manager manages this?
@@aabirgoswami7310 He doesn't... All the players we bought aren't just for the first team.
As a Liverpool fan am so happy. Sterling and his people talked trash about Liverpool when they were forcing a move. zero respect. Now when Chelsea are doing the same to him am so happy.
Chilwell unfortunately is a shell of his former self. Cash in now and lets get a striker and world class cb by the end of the window......
He’s washed
How many more do you need chelshit😂
So much money spent and you still don’t have a great striker 😂😂😂
I don't think Cash is an upgrade
You need a goal keeper too lmao.
Imagine ETH says that about player he tried to give a chance, sent them to a 3 month camp while having a shortage in attackers and then that player didn’t meet the demands of the manager…and he comes out with a statement… oh wait all that happened and media and social media fans went to town on him but now with Chelsea manager…well at least he’s being honest…. lol even hypocrisy should have some limits…
Maresca. Definition in dictionary ‘puppet coach’
this man is going to change chelsea
He's not brutal, he's been honest with the project and according to the instructions given to him by the Club Board
I like the boldness from enzo maresca
Nice. 👌
Sterling wasn't Pep's kind of player in his best playing days.
So, no surprise that Sterling is not Marsha's kind of player now that his best days are behind him.
I like a honest manager 🎉
Ruthless. I suppose Chelsea needed a manager like this. Get rid of dead wood
You are some dullard. Well done.
1, these aren't his decisions. 2, of all the deadwood at Chelsea, sterling and chillwell aren't the problems. If anything, almost every new signing this window is deadwood
@@Leechy-df8pg exactly Chilwell isn't good enough for Chelsea anymore......
Get rid of the dead wood? Well with Chelsea thats like cutting down the amazon rainforest. They've caused their own problems by buying so many players.
They will win nothing with that clown of an owner at the helm, no idea how they have been able to spend so much on transfers
Pretty ignorant considering sterling ended last season strongly
??£325,000 a week yes £325000 good riddance!
Sterling is the GOAT of missing tap ins maybe only after Nunez from Liverpool
Sounds like a big mess
Expensive mess
Your work you put into this really shows!
They should create their own reality-show called
'Buy/Scratch/Discard' At the the money stays in Europe
I think fair play. Sterling hasn’t been good enough for a long time and chillwell is always injured. He’s being very clear with how he is dealing with the large number of players and it’s what I would want Slot to do if it was Liverpool in this situation.
And what player at chelsea has?
@@richardansah5283 not a lot of them but I imagine they are on big wages and only getting older I would move them on. They will probably bring in decent fees too because clubs like to waste money.
Decent fees when you already tell the world that you don't need them 😂😂😂
@@benjamindadzie9657 if they get £40 million for both I’d say that’s decent
This is total nonsense happening at the bridge, and i don't blame the gaffer 😂
Meanwhile - Mudryk

@@NothingPonly 3?? Bro many players get contracts for 2-3 years only. Chelsea dudes think the average is 10 year contract lmao
I mean players always say they appreciate/prefer honesty from managers. I hope for Maresca's sake in a year's time from now we can look at back at this and say it was all warranted.
Hard nosed business. What he’s saying is don’t sign for Chelsea’s if you want to play football because we might want you 1 minute and chuck you the next. We might even buy you sell you and buy you back and then sell you again in about two years.
Honesty is called brutality these days, love this interview.
I really want Chelsea to struggle this season.i will rooting for every club against them
Each time you post, it's a treat!
This club is such a laughing stock😂😂😂😂😂
I think the owners know what they are doing. The problem is that fans don't want change. Abramovich had his own legacy, the new owners want to effect their own legacy. They don't want to do a continuation thing. They want to implement their own legacy. In as much it pains the fans, understand they are the owners. They need to effect changes based on their structural goals, financial goals...
I like him he's honest he's the manager 💙
if chelsea wants top 4, they need to sack this manager
Sterling, when given time, will transform Arsenal. He will shine!
It's simple maths. The manager has to pick 11 to play and several subs from 43 contracted players. Half will miss out Re: training with the first team. He prefers other players to Sterling and Chillwell. What the club do with surplus players is up to them.
It's not brutal. It's fair.
This is how clubs break contracts with player they no longer need. It’s called strategic business.
something i keep thinking about whenever i see anything from maresca is an old pochettino interview where he says that his plan for training the rougher players is for them to learn off of the more experienced ones, and i know obviously the two will have different ways of training but when you get rid of all the more experienced players, what do the ones like jackson and caiciedo have to "aspire" to?
And that’s the bottom line because stone cold said so. You gotta love Steve Austin what a guy 👌
Sterling, Chilwell, Chalobah, Gallagher all Englishman out the door. Mason mount before them. Crazy
Fair play, Man Utd managers would never be this ruthless.
Sterling is miles better than Jackson 😂
Not really he wash shambles
Janet Jackson is better than him
they dont even play the same position you muppet
no he isnt lol
this isnt 2019 anymore
Jackson had more goals and assists last season than Sterling
If you’re an in demand pro, you would be crazy to go and play for Chelsea right now.
Enzo Maresca is very clear on his words
They are on the books which means they are part of the squad, you can divide them up, even try to hide them fact is the squad is massive and you have a lot of work to sell everyone unwanted lol
Let's hope he can win
Maresca, you should be careful. With such results and starting 11, you risk being firef before Christmas.
He's 100 percent one of the first to be sacked
Almost bought a CFC Sterling shirt 2 weeks ago, that sucks. Guess I'm saving money :/
The downfall of Chelsea I told my friend welcome too American owners
English media isn't used to honesty
Chelsea is really going on wrong direction when it comes to club management. Forcing multiple of players out from club at late end transfer doesn't make any sense
Did plays Mudryk, he is moving mad, it’s like he never watched Chelsea last season, with injuries left right and centre, even if they arnt priority u don’t cast out them kind of players, they are players that slot in from experience when things go wrong or u need solid options to push the heart of the team.
He sound like he have something personal towards sterling in my opinion
Hahaha the brutal question.
I will be rooting for any team playing against Chelsea this season.....
And then there were none.
Hear him with your eyes closed and you get “Antonio conte”
Dewsbury-Hall should be starting
Chillwell clears cucurella it’s wild. He is just injury prone, nothing to do with his position
AT LEAST THEY SHOULD ALLOW THEM TO PLAY IN ORDER TO SEE HOW THEY WILL PERFORM. WHEN A CLUB ACTS THIS WAY IT MEANS THEY HAVE A QUITE ENOUGH SEASON TO WIN THE TITLE AND GET INTO UCL. WE SHALL SEE.
Most of those players will be at the club longer than him. I've seen this type of sledgehammer management before, and it never ends well for the coach.
Hardly brutal. These players are highly paid commodities and it’s impossible to manage a squad of this size, therefore some will have to move on. It’s up to the manager who gets picked and who doesn’t. What else can he do?
I've been a chelsea fan all my life but once Boehly got the wheel i had to take a no return flight😂
Here is an idea, why not hire another manager to coach the "rejects" and use one team in Europa competition and domestic cups and the main team to concentrate on the prem. Now that will be revolutionary🤔
This guy's great.
Lol.
Doesn't give a toss.
Just tells it straight.
Better enjoy it - got a feeling he won't be there long.
These players don't fit with his plans.
It's better they leave if they want to play games.
Just train away from the manager and his first team of 20-21 players.
The club isn't in a mess.
Just got lots of players the manager isn't interested in using.
Tied down on 7 year contracts.
But they aren't bad players.
He better start winning then. Dismissing them in public is not smart imo. But I respect telling them that they are not in his plans
Raheem Sterling ditched Liverpool, today he's experiencing the rewards. What I'm trying? The law of KARMA is still potent. Shame on him..... He will never get that love and standing ovation he received from the Kop anywhere in the world
"They chelsea player, until they chelsea player, because they chelsea player"😂😂😂😂
Say what u want about Chelsea and their 700 players…but this guy u gotta respect the honesty and not catering to the players that think their owed something
What is it with Chelsea and destroying players careers? Don’t understand why anyone would go there, especially with the state they’re in at the moment.
Good for Chillwell, unfortunately for Sterling!
He is damn brutal 😢
One game in and you're turning on him already🤣 take it from me as a Leicester lad, He will take no crap from chairman, armchair managers or pappy assed players.
You are talking crap. Chelsea owner will fire him if he messes up. Chelsea has a history if firing managers. Maresca is cannon fodder
Sterling is the best winger Chelsea have, I don’t get why they’d get rid of him
When he wins games the media will silence up
My problem with this is, this happens all the time in football, but normally players are given the opportunity to prove themselves and fight for their place, but thats not d case here. They basically just tryna kick people out. Could be a coincidence but it seems to be d players who:
1)Are on higher wages and are not on the current wage structure the new board is trying to push.
2) Homegrown players who will show up as pure profit to FFP if we sell them.
Makes me think its a desperate attempt to make up for previously financially poor decisions.
Hope a decent team pick up sterling, he deserves better
He moved to chelsea to be closer to where he grew up, so I can see him staying at a London based club and moving somewhere like Crystal Palace on loan is they sell eze…. Or a Tottenham but they don’t need him
@@LT212-24 ohh I see, thanks mate I didn't know that. Palace could utilize him quite well tbf, they always done well with speedy wingers
@@THEIxNinJaScoPeZ yeah they could, only if Sterling is happy to drop salary and to a team not playing in Europe, it wouldn’t be a permanent switch maybe just a loan until something better pops up
Todd Boehly and Co are playing “start, bench or sell” in real life😭😭😭
Hes already seen how bad Sterling is , when he was Citys assistant manager
The owner is doing exactly what man utd did for decades buy everyone for over inflated prices to try and win the lot...
It paid off for them now its kicking them in the love plumbs...
