Fitzgerald is a quaint little town, that said we are in the year 2023 and it still does not have sidewalks for pedestrians. Big problem is the fact that most of the impoverished population live on the east side of the railroad tracks, do you care to take a guess as to what race the people who live there are? I have known this town for 30 years and it hasnt changed, besides gaining a walmart and losing smaller business. And the walmart treats the citizens like theives. Lets just say this beautiful little town has its dark side
