MY GOD, this game. FDCII is one of the few games I would give anything just to experience playing it for the first time again. I loved how the story unfolded and evolved into something I just wasn't expecting when the Kaneda murder is thrown in as well - I loved how it all dovetailed into the ending. This game genuinely fucked me up for a few days afterward, that's how much it affected me on an emotional level. Playing this on a big screen, in the dark, in the middle of the night, with that creep atmosphere music and sound... but the twist when Hibino reveals himself to be the killer legitimately scared the shit out of me. The ENTIRE ENDING (especially when you hear his footsteps down the hall) was very well done. LOVE THIS GAME.
Thank you for uploading this. ^_^ Famicom Detective Club Part II was such an awesome game with an incredible story, it's a shame that it was never made into a movie, either anime or live action would have been amazing.
I saw this version before the original FDS version and boy did this blow it out of the water IMO. So beautifully detailed with all kinds of extra stylized artwork that makes the original seem plain. Not to mention the effort put into the soundtrack. Yes most are remixes of a single theme but they made them stand out from each other and it kept the music from becoming repetitive. Even the theme when Hibino reveals himself which sounds the closest to the original version of the tune is expanded upon.
@@dejiko She was considered for Smash during the production of Melee. As for how she's not Smash material, I agree with you there. But then again we've got fighters like Isabelle who isn't exactly a warrior either.

AJR 1986 Hibino was the last person I would have expected. I think I'm gonna have nightmares of that psychopath...

Remake of Famicom Dectetive Club I & II announced in the Nintendo Direct in Japan !
I hope she'll be in Smash Bros now...
Ayumi for Smash Ultimate
Sadly, Ayumi is an unplayable Spirit, plus she's not much of a fighter and they can't think of any moves for her.
How? She's not exactly a warrior.
