Your mom reading Tigerclaw's design as trustworthy and good guy-y just shows how greatly you got his personality and charisma. The cats of Thunderclan didn't see through him until too late (Bluestar would have been dead if it wasn't for Fireheart trusting Ravenpaw's words), same with Shadowclan trusting and believing he had changed.
