Loved the video Pete! I'm currently working full time (Mon-Fri) in construction and am really interested in starting a small business on weekends to earn a little extra £. I have no experience in starting my own business or in window cleaning, however would love to get into it. My friend and I are both interested in doing something on Saturdays and window cleaning seems like a business venture with low risk/cost and perhaps the way forward. Just wondering what're your thoughts on this? Do you think us investing in the window cleaning equipment and only working on Saturdays in a viable and worthy option?

@@Zupez the easiest and free way is a facebook page, then share your page in local buy, sell and swap groups. Also door to door canvassing with flyers can work to but that's time consuming and can be hard going when you get loads of no thank you. Payment wise get first cleans to pay upfront, that way it'll get rid of messers or folks looking to get a free clean. Have a card machine like IZettle or sum up, that way you can take card payments, so no excuse if they don't have cash lol

You should consider making a Window Cleaning Business in-depth guide where you discuss everything involved for beginners (Legal required/recommended things before starting, beginning tools, how to gain customers, how to clean different window types etc. I think it would be great for inspiring people like myself learn how and where to begin. :)
Love it, Peter. The structure of the video tells me that you've been well trained somewhere in public speaking. 😉 There are great logo designers on Etsy and Instagram. And very reasonably priced with them giving full ownership of the jpg and png files which can then be used on Facebook, IG, and the invoicing software a business is using. Now that's done I'm looking forward to making some videos again 👍🏻
It's very easy to get lost in a sea of flash designs to a point were you are no longer unique that's why I went for a very old fashioned design which I think is easy to remember & gets noticed 😊

Yeah sure! You can earn decent money window cleaning so yeah defo go for it! It's less stressful than construction to lol
