I've played my own version of this deck a couple times. I'm not entirely sure about dauthi in the deck. Replacement effects like Dauthi and Valgavoth ensure the card never hits the graveyard and tinybones exiles the card after it hit the graveyard. They are kind of nonbos with the commander right?
Depends on when they are played. Timestamps would matter in this situation. I’m just ensuring they don’t get their stuff and we do we this extra cards. -Hunter
@ Right but don’t the time stamps matter only if they are both replacement effects? Tinybones doesn’t say instead so doesn’t it actually have to hit the graveyard to work?
@@chryobanshee yes, you're correct. I appreciate the video being made but in general this seems to be a lot of black "good stuff" more than the discard focus this commander wants.
Is there any sort of self exile with Tinybones? Meaning if you cast something with a stash, and then then get it back into exile and cast it again? Or would the stash counters fall off when cast?
I’d consider sword of feast and famine to make stuff a threat, discard and untap your lands to play more of your opponents’ cards. Dark deal is a horrific lot powerful card in these decks. I play tourach tho so maybe sword of ff isn’t too great in this deck, but it makes your scary stuff even scarier, or your random 1/1s do things after you play them for their etbs. I should try Sangromancer discard decks draw so much hate that the sheer amount of life gain that thing might get you could help a lot.
I do kinda think a reanimate effect would be worth running in the deck. Just one, since you can get back valvagoth and other scary stuff with it. You may even end up discarding them to yourself with your symmetrical discard effects
I also tried to limit the amount of every player discards a card to only our opponents. So you may be on to something with the reanimating effects. -Hunter
There is a 1/1 rat with unearth that makes each player discard a card but it got outclassed as soon as more of the each opponent discards creatures got printed. Honestly this tinybones might be able to get away with more each player discards effects because he lets you play your opponents’ stuff. He is pretty easy to kill however so it’s by no means a guarantee
The good news is he is a cheap cost. So if he does get removed, it’s not the end of the world. Can cast him multiple times a game and not be too worried.
I'm currently building a Tiny deck. Got some good ideas from your vid. Thnx man!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Super pumped to give this a try
You and me both! -Hunter

When cards move zones they lose anything attached to them, so the stash counters would be removed after casting the cards.

Those are some good options to throw in as well! -Hunter
