I have a different issue. The controls of AC and other functions are in the infotainment itself. I want to keep the car for more than 5 years, if the system breaks, i cannot even replace it with a cheaper one. I'll have to pay more than 50k to replace. The hector's unit costs 80k. Paying so much for a stereo for a 5-6 year old car is stupid. Also, in all other cars, i can install another stereo, not in this because the ac and other functions will not work then.
There is no info on spare part prices as well. I've heard they are very expensive unnecessarily. No price is provided online. What if 5-6 years down the line, the stereo breaks, won't be able to use the AC then. No one will buy the car when they come to know the stereo can't be changed and they are stuck with 5-7 year old tech whereas they can upgrade in another car if they want.
This car feels like a use and throw product because of this. I cancelled the car because of this. You too probably won't keep it beyond warranty period.

What ia the warranty period? Till when can you extend it? Creta has 7 years, Seltos 5 years, Elevate has 10 years.. What about Astor? What's the maximum period till which you can extend the warranty?

Bas 9200 ONLY? I pay an average of RS 18000 on the VW AMEO service every year. from 2014 - 2017 i paid Rs 8- 13000 for my SKODA RAPID Service bill. Aapka gaadi ka bill to theek hai. Itni badi gaadi hai.

@@singhalbrotherz hyundai i20 i used to pay minimum 9000. Recently bought mg hector plus blackstorm and hopefully it would be around the same. 1st service was 0 anyhow
