They did all of this for a hockey stadium that could have been built somewhere else😐😭

They should have used the SODO area where most arenas are. That way Northgate Mall would have been safe.
I really don't care about sports, but if it brings money to the city for other stuff -- fine. But it seems like it's just going to be an NHL campus and not a place to always hang out at a weekly basis. As a mall patron, I am there at least 4-8 times a month eating at their good court or eating at Chipotle. Most recently Blue Fin and seafood restaurant closed a few days ago, and they were one of the finest Asian buffets. You have to go all the way to rainer valley now to a place called F.E.A.S.T in order to get a place that is just as good as Blue Fin was.
If it becomes an NHL campus, I won't have any business walking around on the middle of the day.
I'm glad Target and Best Buy are safe since they are not on the main mall property.
I'm hoping thet build another foid court since foid courts are the most convenient place to get something to eat after school.
Did you know KING5 that my school, Shoreline CC, no longer has a contract with our old cafeteria, Lancer Hospitality? Yep, so we closed off the area where the grill was. Vending Machines are not filled since they used to under Lancer. The new contract with Avanti markets stated they were going to fill them, but they have not yet to do that and may not do it for another few weeks. So what students get is a mini market the size q small newstand with snacks amd some frozen foods. We also have 2 Seattle Food Trucks on campus but thet leave at 2 pm. While 2:30 pm was the time the old cafeteria closed, some of the art/Visual Communications classes are super long and students don't get time to get to the food truck since afternoon classes in the set department go from 12:30 pm to 3:10pm or the morning classes go from 9:30 AM to 12:10 pm. Hence, I kind of wish the Seattle Foid Trucks would stay until 3:30pm.
Hence Northgate Mall was my go to place to ear after school. And soon, even this food court will be dead as there are only a couple options.
Personally, I wish Sarku had a food truck that could serve my school campus, but it's a good thing our Seattle Foid Trucks alternate so it's not always the same truck. That's the only+.
Do news anchors get foid trucks too or a comissary, or is it a walk way lunch like 99.99999% if employers? Or do you have to hope to pull into a McDonald's because your boss always wants be on the prowl for juicy news?

People say Seattle is dying, but it seems like they are working to rebuild.

Seattle was never dying, it was “dying” in the same way that everyone is moving out of California. Conservatives have been both of these things for 30 years. Yet low tax haven states like Nebraska and Kansa are still poor.
