I discovered emulation when I was in middle school in 1997. There is something new and cool going on every year, it's a really amazing scene. And you're part of it!
How did you get mouse input to work? I updated the emulator today, saw the new mouse input and set the rotary option in the game and the rotary controller in the emulator input. I even tried mapping the mouse directions to the directional pad on the input mapping. Any explanation would be appreciated. *Edit* I figured out that you have to map the mouse directions to Analog left and right. Now I'm wondering what your analog sensitivity settings are ... .20 seems too twitchy and .10 seems too sluggish for my Turbo Twist 2 spinner. I'm looking for a way to set it to .15 or .17.
I went with .20 for the video using a Turbo Twist 2. If you want to make it more specific, there is a config file in AppData/Roaming/BigPEmu. Let me know what you go with.
I'm trying to figure that out too. I purchased a GRS USB Spinner (TS-BSP-02). OK - I got it (and I love using a spinner on Tempest) - read below In BigPEmu Device Count = 2 Device 1 = Rotary - Rotary Scale 0.50 (can change to your liking)- Bindings: Add Analog0-Left = move your spinner clockwise - Add Analog0-Right = move your spinner counterclockwise (note W = Option and Q = Pause Device 2 = Standard - Bindings: Add Pause = P (on keyboard) Start (Load) Tempest 2000 and use Rotary Hack At "Select Game Type to Play" Hit Option (W key on keyboard) and then hit pause button on controller one and two together (or hit Q and P on your keyboard to unlock Rotary controller in Tempest 2000 game (select it at "controller type" Play your game using your spinner :)
