Okay, someone MAY have already said this, but, I have the R-Dynamic and a few of the features you needed are included in that feature. One- the second row moves forward and backward adding more space between it and the first row. Your car seat may fit better with that option. Two- the open cubby under the climate area does have a wireless charger. Three- the second and third row seats are heated and cooled. Four- the third row has cup holders, USB ports, and hidden cubbies. Five- and potentially coolest of all (pun intended) the center console is a fridge. You can turn it on/off, but it’s perfect for storing a drink or two, a snack or two, or even breast milk. Six- there are two glove boxes; an upper and lower. Seven- everything is fully automatic, so when she/you were having to hold the switches down to move the seats, in the R-Dynamic, you push the button and move on. The car carries out the work. You can also lower and raise the seats from the control panel/screen on the center dash. I think that MAY cover some of it. Overall, I love the car!
Not to be the historian here but that rear-end design pays homage to the previous generation Discoveries that used to have tailgate-mounted spare tires! They all had stepped rear window designs for better visibility and also more area for a tire mount. :)
I’m so glad someone finally reviewed this car! It was really hard to find any decent reviews of the 2021 model with the new tech etc. I was also nervous that you were going to love this car and I was going to regret not getting it. Phewsies that she’s lacking in a few areas. I ended up with an X7, which I love, but will always have a soft spot for the discovery having grown up with them.
I don't have kids, and I don't drive kids, but the test about the seats is something I can admire. So many reviews and it's the first one that gives any meaningful time to it. It's fundamental for most families. Thanks.
Nice review car mom! I have one of these, for those that care, it's great off-road. My daughter's car seat fits better than the ones she showed. But 3 across of anything is cramped. 3rd row is comfortable but hard to get in, yes there are cup holders and USB in my 3rd row.
Girl you nailed it!! Just bought a new Discovery in April and I’m obsessed! Have two older kids so they fit very comfortably, but I’m with you on the car seats/stroller! This car is definitely not for those with babies and the things that come with them lol!
Thank you for the review, I like your "real world" way of describing things, telling it like it is. I have a couple of questions, if anyone watching or you know yourself, can answer. 1. The first is about these new screens (in many cars now) for the Nav and entertainment features. Isn't it a hassle to not have a volume knob or a channel selection knob so you can control those things immediately? 2. The second question is about the reliability of Land Rovers. They can look great and have a lot of creature comforts, but how often are there maintenance issues? All those bells and whistles don't do much good if the car is in the shop.
Would like to see on road driving demo, everyone just seems to talk about driving experience but for us, we need to hear and see a demo of driving around, maybe on highway of what its like. Great video overall btw!
I love your reviews as you are honest and sassy and more of possible owner of these vehicles especially as a mom . The other reviewers are good .thanks for sharing.

U can get sun shades with protection package.. only complaint would be increase trunk size by 3 inches… Also R dynamic gives 3 liter option in case you think you need it
Kelly it's "heritage". The roof line and license plate location trace back generations. Not unlike Corvette with their 4 round/rectangular tail lights. Great review.
Thank you for honestly addressing the car seats behind your sitting position. As a couple that is 6’2”+ with soon to be 2 under 2, that is a great visual on the space in the second row! Love your videos and appreciate your insight, you are helping us find our next family whip!
We have a Nuna Rava (rear-facing for our 20-month-old), and it fits totally fine in the middle row, passenger side. I'm 6 ft tall and very comfortable sitting in the seat in front of it. I think a good fit here depends on buying the right car seat.
This does not look like it has enough room like the atlas however awesome review! The fact that we are in the same city is even more awesome-er! Hopefully you can get a chance to tour the Jeep Cherokee L. I heard it is the cats meow right now. Wonderful job on the tour reviews, keep them coming! Hope you and your family are having a wonderful summer!
Love the car but i do own a palisade and pretty much i have everything and some extra features that this doesn't have and since i have captain seats i cant go back to bench and yes im sure this drives better and of course brand wise this is on another level
It’s really good that the door panels are nice. Because you’re going to be staring at them for six hours while you wait on the side of the road for a tow truck. These vehicles are beautiful like works of art visually. Practically their garbage. And I may be mistaken but I thinkThe point of a vehicle is to get you from point a to point B without a tow truck. Okay Kelly, I have a challenge for you. I have two bad shoulders, steering is my least favorite thing. My shoulders ache after a long road trip in my Nissan Pathfinder. I’m looking for smooth steering that works well with car seats and my dream would be a kick power lift gate. Does this even exist?
You had me at a place to put my sunglasses. Do you know Cadillac XT5 does not have one? Single reason why I won’t buy another. On the door handle, is it a pass thru, or can you throw change for drive thrus in it? It’s a pass thru on XT5, again, another bummer on an otherwise wonderful car.
She did! I think I maybe last year. If it’s not on TH-cam then it’s on her Instagram unless she took it down. I watched it right after I bought my pilot haha
Yes, I agree with you - the back plate placement should be centered. Land Rover should listen to the potential customers and make that change. Other than that, LR discovery is a gorgeous SUV.
The front end of this vehicle and the overall appearance look bland. The rear half - passenger doors back - looks nice, but they seemed to have taken a lot of the sexiness out of the exterior. The interior looks really nice but also tame for the price, or it’s maybe that they’re trying to keep an overly conservative appearance?
Loved this review, cause I’m a might need a third row here and there for a friend/neighbor kid etc but mostly a big trunk. My question is, is there a trim level that gives you maybe the window shades, and some other things?

I own this vehicle. Great family vehicle. This is a really bad review with little REAL info. Finds Other Reviews. The roof line & license plate is that way for a reason, its a homage to the Old Discovery . The back seats actually move back , we fit a carseat without issues

Gorgeous SUV but the unfortunate side to owning a Range Rover/Land Rover product is that the reliability is below average. A lot of people purchase the extended warranty because of the issues w/the electronics and other things
As someone who comes from a family who only drives range rovers & Land Rover, I can ONLY disagree with this. If you take care of your car, basic maintenance (on time), drive responsibility, they won't break down. Yes, things will go down but it's unfair to say that they have a lot of issues when the competition has the same issues... You also have to consider all of this technology is only 6-7 years old at best and ofc they havnt gotten it 100% right.
