I had no clue it was like, something that Lamy could enter into the International Wine Challenge. How involved is she with her sake's production process? I'm assuming she has some sort of marketing control if she was able to start the process of entering it into the IWC, but her comments about experimenting with flavor adjustments shows she has way more creative control over it than I thought she had.
Very involved I hear... ppl say she talked about it in her streams too. That led me to watch more clips, and I learned that she does so much more than make sake and stream, and then I was hooked. Before I knew it, I was subscribed to more than half of HoloEN and was tuning in to streams while working at home. So thanks for that! And thanks to Lamy as well! I like these Hololive people very much.

This clip would make a great animation, Lamy drunkenly bragging about her wine as she begins to chuckle and slur her words at the end, followed by passing out
By taking the extra step of entering this competition and getting an award, she's successfully proven a point, regardless of what antis say, its been proven that Wamy sake have great quality and taste. W
Can you imagine the fury, indignation and denial that will spew from the wine snob communities after an anime girl made one of the worlds best wines?
It will be pure gold
I swear I don't care if I have to save up for a year I will definitely buy Lamy's sake before the end of 2023
This is gonna be my motivation that alcoholics can succeed in Alcohol not just getting drunk from alcohol. Working in the Alcohol business is not just a hobby, It won't, I'll make sure of it.
Wait, I thought the Lamy wine was just a meme, nothing more than a Hololive collaboration food/drink thing!
It's like an artist who designs a bag and then send it to the manufacturer, make adjustments etc. So the artist is very involved and has the final say in the making of said bag. Lamy's case is similiar. She controls everything abt the making process
This isn't just some marketing gimmick where they just slap her face on an existing product
So yeah the award, it's really impressive
@@kittencutie7074 I don't get much of it, for me the wine tastes all the same at some point, but I assume she is a pro at it considering how much she "tastes it" xD
Lamy is 100% involved in the production process to the point that she helped prepare and design the sake herself.
Yagoo casually sipping lami wine after his company makes another W in grand scale of world
実際にこのお酒は美味しいので、海外の方にも飲んで頂きたいなあ。
Lamy win this twice. The next year, she developed a second sake, that was also entered in the same competition and also won.
Well thats cool! Those guys made some good Sake!
Imagine the judges saying "damn this shit hitting" and it's an anime girl on the bottle.
I found her sake and it's kinda cool to see her in that page.
I dont really watch Lamy but feel nothing but pride for her and this brand. This isnt just something you can pull off and the fact that the company that produced it was able to pull off 3rd place. Good for them, and for Lamy.
The company entered with lamy and their own, their own got silver.
Lets not forget bronze in this kind of competition doesnt mean "3rd place in the entire world" since there are like 100+ bronze medals awarded, its more of a benchmark on how good something is
Props to the sake makers themselves.
They could have just half-assed it or make a sort of good one and know they would still make some money back because a HoloLive talent has her name on it but instead they made a sake so good that it won an international competition.
Critically acclaimed anime juices!
But seriously amazing! Congrats to both Lamy and the company! I really wish I could taste it though.
The taste of Lamy wins even in a blind taste test
lamy : i'm professional drinker, if i said it's good trust me it's good.
Impressive. Like, the IWC is no joke, if their standards for sake are anything like their wine ones.
Props to the Sake makers, for making such good one and using such good mascot for the brand.
With her experience it is not suprising that she knows her stuff.
That’s actually crazy like bronze is nuts I’m so happy for her
"This taste like an anime girl... 7/10"
Bruh this is Insane! Hololive's world Domination Keikaku is Real!
This is the first Hololive clip I’ve ever watched, and I wanted to stop by and say thanks! Not knowing anything about Hololive, I watched this because I was looking for a cool story, and I absolutely got one! I thought it was noteworthy that a streamer was attached to something so acclaimed by a group of people who are notoriously hard to impress, and I really liked listening to her talk.
Always knew that Nene's Lamy Water enterprise would take off one day.
A huge congratulations to Wamy and her partners. This is MASSIVE! An extremely well earned award.
i want a drink now
Hah! Oh God, I'd love to see some super serious brewery that's been trying for years to be placed and see one of the awards is a new entry that has a bottle with a vtuber on it.
Yes, folks. It's not third place. That doesn't mean she and others can't be happy about it.
Normally, wine awards and the awards of similar drinks are meaningless and essentially worthless, but in this case, the way she described it seems like the contest was specifically designed to avoid the pitfalls of most wine contests, so congrats to her!
Damn, I usually take care to try wines that get awards like these since they are very often actually good. These awards are Very meritocratic, if you won, you won because you deserved it.
i checked the list just now, it seems there are over 300 contestants that won medals (gold, silver, bronze, honorary) from over 50 countries....
since there aren't any information how many contestants participating, i reckon it's still quite a feat to net bronze medal.
congratulations Lammy!
There are like 10000 different wines entering the competition every year, so being among those who won a medal at all means quite a lot already.
I'm feeling deja vu. I could have sworn this happened over a year ago.
I just want to pat her on the head and tell her she did a good job.
She is so proud and rightfully so!
Hope she will come out with more versions seeing how much she is enjoying it.
at this point i believe Lamy had the same power as Erina from shokugeki no shouma.
i need to see that award myself
edit: so i have learned that 750 dollars is a lot
whats the $750 about? depending on what it is,it may not be 'a lot'

Sasuga Wamy Armpit Water ... 🙏🙏🙏
Congrats to Lamy for this amazing achievement!!! I’m not the most enthused drinker out there nor am I an alcohol connoisseur to the slightest degree, but I’m willing try some of her stuff. Again, congrats for the gold award!!
So Lamy The Sake Sommelier?
I concur with the findings and rate Lamy's Delicious Fluids to be top shelf worthy.
I want to buy this, Noel's and Pekora's but I don't even drink alcohol. 🤣
Try for taste with some company?
😃
Buy and keep until you reach drinking age, or resell it. (ah wait, don't resell, Lammy will be sad.)
I'm already old.
I just don't drink alcohol
This is when one stops being an alcoholic and becomes an aficionado.
One step at a time, Vtubers forge a better world for us.
How?
Disagree.
Getting drunk is forgetting the world for a moment to enjoy yourself, and before that you feel the taste of the sake, tasting is one of the pleasures of humanity!
So yes... yes I agree with you.
Some of you guys are a bit too... passionate about vtubers.
@@zaishijunior9455 All while the world burns. Ain't that nice. That really helps people, doesn't it? /s
Judges became yukimin after tasting the sake
I wanna try it too ;w; Lamy please
Lamy water can't go wrong, and going international
Wait, Lamy has sake company??
no, but she had a collab with a Sake company, like Pekora with her Plump Wine.
plump wine lol
plum. plum wine.
@@Divran22 so like ambassador?
@@healme69420
I think it's simply just collab ... Like they collab with Family Mart or Baseball tournament ... Like how company often hire a model to be their brand's cover ... BTS or Christiano Ronaldo or etc ...
It is more than just an Ambassador. Lamy help in developing the flavor of the saki according to her taste. That is why she is very proud of this award because it essentially validate her refined taste.
Wine and sake companies should try to sponsor Lamy. Her alcohol taste is great.
Secret ingridient that wins this sake: Lamy Water
Crystal Skull has been real quiet since this dropped.
this really convinces me that Lamy character should not be elf but a dwarf instead lol
Yeah this is the first I’m hearing about this wine and it’s kinda crazy how an anime girl made her own sake
It being a blind test is the important part to emphasize. That means that there's no external bias in the judging, such as if the judges were fans or antis of Lamy for example. Their judgements are only carrying their own personal biases, such as preferences of taste and texture. This makes the fact that Lamy earned a bronze (which I'm assuming is 3rd place) actually very impressive.
Bronze is not really 3rd place, it's more of a certification of high class
@@vulcanmemes9770 As someone put it in other comment,
Gold = High class
Silver = Pretty good High class-ish
Bronze = Good wine everyone can enjoy, its up there but not high class
Doctor turn off my alcohol inhibitor
No wonder Lamy's sake is always hard to find in stock
Snow elves know booze, who knew
Oh y'all think Hololive got absurdly popular these past couple of years, they haven't even started
One of the first step in anime domination lol
You can't spell Wine without Win, congratulations Lamy!!!
To think that the world (in the inner circle of wine industry at least) now will forever remember the fact that a drunkard anime girl won bronze medal in international awards with her personal brand against many famous and well known brand throughout the earth is hilarious.
What a wonderful world we are currently living, eh?
