Chloe, I never see you use a denman brush, but I am so curious what your curls look like when you use it!! Maybe you could do a video of your curls on one side using a denman and the other side using your normal finger coil method (so we can see the difference) I would love that! You are beautiful, I love your videos💕💕

LIFE CHANGING RESULTS!!!!!!! The definition and curls that I got out of this was totally worth my arms feeling like they were going to fall off after all the finger coiling. Thank you for putting this video together!

Just started following you and just started my transition to curly hair. I wasn’t born with curly/wavy hair, just started turning that way about 10 years ago. So I’ve been straightening it for years and just tired of the damage. It’s definitely been a learning experience because I don’t have any knowledge if curly hair care. So glad I found you!

I love your thoroughness, you’re such a good teacher. I also enjoy your sense of humor! I also love the souffle for its slip, when I had highlights especially it was the only thing to help me with slip. Kinky Curly custard is a holy grail. Made a lot of sense about finger coiling helping with separation of otherwise large clumps, I’m going to try it. Love your hair! 🙏🏼😊

I don't know if you'll see this since it's an older video, but omg I'm so happy I found your channel. I always see these curl transformation videos and just assume my hair won't do that, but when it's wet, mine looks so much like yours! I can get good curls but it seems like they flop shortly after I dry them - like it looks amazing for 5 minutes and then it's just a frizzy mess. I'm so excited to try finger coiling and gel. I also had no idea I was "allowed" to brush my hair, but omg I love brushing my hair, and have missed it for years - everybody always says "DON'T TOUCH YOUR CURLS AT ALL, NEVER USE A BRUSH, NEVER USE A COMB" etc. Your hair is just phenomenal (and you're so pretty!) and gah I'm just so excited to watch all your other videos.

Hi!I have literally just learnt how to use my pick properly from this video 😂 I was using it like my mum used to (she has coily hair where mine is more 2c/3a) and she would just go in from the top. But going from underneath makes so much more sense with my hair type! Reminds me of when I would backcomb 😅I’m going to give it a go on wash day.

11:15 Wanted to emphasize Chloe's point here about curl diameter and picking the right size pieces to finger-coil because when I decided to do more thorough finger-coiling a year ago, I was coiling pieces of hair that were WAY too small. As a frame of reference, I have looser 3A-3B curls. They tend to form barrel ringlets. By coiling pieces of hair that were too small, I wound up with a style that was far too separated and stringy. It would look presentable for 2-3 days maximum before turning into a tangled rat's nest, even with a strong hold gel, and needing to start over. Coiling thicker pieces provided my hair with much better structure and longevity, and my wash days would last more than 6 days. If you're just starting out with finger-coiling and you find that it isn't working out, take bigger/smaller sections before giving up and moving onto a different technique. It really does make a difference.

Hi! I have 3c curly hair and I’m having trouble finding products that work without weighing my hair down too much. My hair looks almost just like yours but with more frizz and less definition. You have the hair I want to obtain but i’ve never had much luck what leave ins or stylers. And I wash and condition my hair before bed. So I usually just use water to reactivate it. Do you have any tips or products that you recommend (the less products the better for my hair :)).

I actually finger comb and then I comb through just to make sure that is detangled.

Amazing tutorial! I’ve found I’m able to give my hair definition but what I struggle with is that I STILL get frizz/frizzy straight strands at the top of my head, and no amount of oil, serum or leave in will get rid of it. Any tips for managing this?

Try using products on really wet hair . finger coil hair to help train them.. Make sure your using enough product but not so much it weighs it down. Idk if you defuse but start hovering over roots first .. Make sure your cast forms before you defuse curls... A big thing is not to touch your hair too much as well... Use a gel or mouse to really help minimize the frizz! There is so much to it lol manes by Mel has great videos as well I learned a lot from her channel:)

I bought the bonnet you suggested and it didn't even fit my head... like its super tight. I hope I can get my money back cause I bought 3... and now I don't have a bonnet I'm bummed.
