It took us from 7:30a to 12n to get up we stayed up about 30min and went down Abol. Got to Abol at around 4p and got a ride back to Katahdin Stream Campground

@@CKDaley we stayed at Appalachian Trail Hostel in Millenocket. They will take you to Baxter. Then you’ll summit, and start on the AT till you reach Monson. Stay at Shaw’s Hostel and they can support your way back.
On the trail, most hikers go by a trail name. Ours are Owl and Togo. Feel free to ask any questions you might have about hiking the AT!

It was so beautiful up on top. It was totally obscured when we first got up and then the clouds parted for just a few minutes!
