The Soonfire DS35 is a 1050 tactical flashlight, which is USB-C rechargeable and comes with its own 21700 lithium battery.

I said in the video that Soonfire made an error in the manual when describing the battery requirements. They have since confirmed that in addition to the 21700, it will also run on a single 18650, or 2 - CR123's, or 2 - rechargeable 16340's. With any of those, you would need an adapter tube to fill the extra interior space.

What if when I plug it in and click the button to charge and the main light does turn on? How do I fix that issue?

Has to be turned on to charge???

Some flashlights require a click of the switch after the cable is plugged in. It doesn't turn the light on, it just activates the charging process.
