In my experience, Korean quality is better than English, so I don't understand the hate. lol. I feel like people forget how horrible the QC is with English typically. And they feel about the same in my opinion as well. They do tear differently, though. It also seems as though Korean is reaching English value with a lot of sets.
Compared to English, they look nearly identical, with Japanese having the darker contrast. I literally compared a bunch of regular cards and V, Vmaxs, etc. They look the same as English but with better QC. Not that I'm going to stop buying English, but still. lol. Also, Korean Moonbreon is typically around the same price as English.
The way I see it, if you are paying less...expect to get less in the future. But just like with any product, the value will go up when it becomes vintage (As long as the pokemon market stays relevant in general) Just don't expect to fetch as high as a premium as you would with japanese and english.
Thank you for the video. Very informative. Saved me spending money in the wrong place. I ordered Japanese version instead, making it an investment/pleasure.
I feel like there is definitely room to grow, but I don't think they'll ever be on par with English or Japanese. I don't buy from Ebay very much really, im lucky to have access to some good Local stores and other stores across AUS that offer good shipping. if I do buy from Ebay it's mostly singles.
I got some of them, but I’ve an issue, I tried to broke it half but I had not idea about how it supposed to look like even less with holographic can you broke some to see?
If just checking the price, then Coupang application. Idk if it works in other countries other than korea. But this box with 10 packs in it cost like ~20$ to 40$, depending on what series of the box. It's not very expensive for Koreans
öhm nop japan has the best cards jea but the korean hits have still better quality than the englisch ones sadly the cuts on englisch cards are often not perfekt as if the blade was dull i have never seen something like it on korean cards and the texture on the real hits looks awsome at least on my sylveon ^^
I actually won a booster box of Korean 151 on a drip stream. Got them today got a few good pulls nothing crazy. The quality isn’t really that bad but not great either. Not something id buy. Tbh I don’t even really get Japanese cards. Only have this cuz i won it and just paid the standard 4 dollar shipping that drip charges but its been hard fining much info these cards.
Nice congrats on the win! I have heard that more recent sets of Korean have been a bit better quality than in the past. I agree it's more of a situation where your money is better spent elsewhere if you are buying packs.
@@Vulcanicc after selling 3 cgc 10 slab of korean 151 for 350cad (charmander ar, charmeleon ar, charizard ex) i disagree totally with you , time change bro
@abadman972 This video was posted almost two years ago and I can bet if you sold those cards in English or Japanese they would command a much higher price

The charizard on 151 on all of these languages is still worth a lot 🤷♂️ I just ordered a Korean booster box !
@@thefireking5729for sure! All of the SAR cards and master balls have value! I opened 8 boxes the other day. God packs are awesome!

Exactly right! Just look at something like vintage Spanish Pokemon Cards their price increased, but not at the same rate

Just wondering, do you know anywhere you can check the prices of Korean cards?
I have mostly used eBay as a main point to check but I think Troll and Toad also have Korean cards.
cardmarket or tcgplayer

Everyone's money is definitely better placed in English or Japanese
