There is a major difference between sleeping and that of perishing like the animals. If we believe, we will sleep to be raised again, those that do not believe, perish like the animals, never to know anything that ever happens again, under the sun. The fact remains that Jesus died for all, while we were yet in our sins. We cannot die the death that Jesus died, there can be no double jepardy.
Please watch the video of the first lesson. This is not a chapter by chapter study on the gospel of John. It is a thematic study on the gospel of John.
That's what satan would like us to believe because he wants to defile the character God. God uses all situations (good or bad) to reveal Himself to us.
Yes, He could sin otherwise there would not be a passage in the Bible talking about Him going to be desert to be tempted. And if He had sinned, Jesus would have died and would have been lost.
@@nalediyawa4790 Indeed! No Savior, no salvation, no sinners saved. He did not have a bad thought, it was never about Him, He always thought about us first, He was selfless. He humble Himself as the Son of man, he depended completely on the Holy Spirit to succeed in His mission. That's what I call: LOVE! I am so grateful to Him and want and need to love Him in return. May God bless us all.
Good question. Hebrews 4:15 says, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin." This verse tells us that Jesus was tempted but He was without sin. The fact that He was tempted shows that it was possible for Jesus to sin. And yet, Jesus did not sin. If you have further questions, please email us at info@hopelives365.com and we'd be glad to talk to you about it.
Did Christ have a beginning? The Bible clearly teaches that Christ had a beginning. {Proverbs 8:22-30, John 8:42, John 16:27, 28} He does not possess a co-eternity of past existence with the Father. Jesus himself declares "my Father is greater than I."- John 14:28. He also states that "For as the Father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself."- John 5:26. Our SDA pioneers (including Ellen G. White) believed that Jesus had a beginning, they were all non-trinitarians. The Scriptures certainly clearly intimate that the existence of Christ had a beginning. (John 1:1), which was not so in the case of the Father. (Daniel and Revelation, p.401, Uriah Smith) God alone is without beginning. At the earliest epoch when a beginning could be, - a period so remote that to finite minds it is essentially eternity, - appeared the Word. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1. This uncreated Word was the Being, who, in the fulness of time, was made flesh, and dwelt among us. His beginning was not like that of any other being in the universe. It is set forth in the mysterious expressions, “his [God’s] only begotten Son” (John 3:16; 1 John 4:9), “the only begotten of the Father” (John 1:14), and, “I proceeded forth and came from God.” John 8:42. Thus it appears that by some divine impulse or process, not creation, known only to Omniscience, and possible only to Omnipotence, the Son of God appeared.. LUJ 10.1 The Eternal Father, the unchangeable one, gave his only begotten Son, tore from his bosom Him who was made in the express image of his person, and sent him down to earth to reveal how greatly he loved mankind.” EGW, Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, 07-09-1895, “The Duty of the Minister and the People,” Par. 14. The Scriptures certainly clearly intimate that the existence of Christ had a beginning. (John 1:1), which was not so in the case of the Father. (Daniel and Revelation, p.401, Uriah Smith) The Scriptures declare that Christ is "the only begotten son of God." He is begotten, not created. There was a time when Christ proceeded forth and came from God, from the bosom of the Father (John 8:42; 1:18), but that time was so far back in the days of eternity that to finite comprehension it is practically without beginning. (Christ and His Righteousness, page 21, E.J. Waggoner) The Word was “in the beginning.” The mind of man cannot grasp the ages that are spanned in this phrase. It is not given to men to know when or how the Son was begotten; but we know that he was the Divine Word, not simply before He came to this earth to die, but even before the world was created.. CHR 9.1 ‘‘And as to the Son of God, he could be excluded also, for he had God for His Father, and did, at some point in the eternity of the past, have beginning of days. J.N. Andrews, Review & Herald, September 7, 1869 While both are of the same nature, the Father is first in point of time. He is also greater in that he had no beginning, while Christ's personality had a beginning "(E. J. Waggoner, The Present Truth vol 6, December 18, 1890, page 409.7) You are mistaken in supposing that S. D. Adventists teach that Christ was ever created. They believe, on the contrary, that he was "begotten" of the Father, and that he can properly be called God and worshiped as such. They believe, also, that the worlds, and everything which is, was created by Christ in conjunction with the Father. They believe, however, that somewhere in the eternal ages of the past there was a point at which Christ came into existence. - {W.H. Littlejohn, REVIEW AND HERALD, APRIL 17, 1883} “As Christ was twice born, - once in eternity, the only begotten of the Father, and again here in the flesh, thus uniting the divine with the human in that second birth, - so we, who have been born once already in the flesh, are to have the second birth, being born again of the Spirit, in order that our experience may be the same, - the human and the divine being joined in a life union.’’ - W. W. Prescott, Review & Herald, April 14, 1896 Jesus was made one with God. [See Patriarchs and Prophets, 37, 38.1 His exaltation created envy and jealousy in Satan's heart. {Ellen G. White, 17LtMs, Ms 1, 1902, par. 2} God is the Father of Christ; Christ is the Son of God. To Christ has been given an exalted position. He has been made equal with the Father. All the counsels of God are opened to His Son. {Testimonies for the church vol 8, p. 268 par. 3} The Father then made known that it was ordained by himself that Christ, his Son, should be equal with himself; {The Spirit of Prophecy Vol 1, page 17, Ellen G. White } "We are to repeat the words of the pioneers in our work, who knew what it cost to search for the truth as for hidden treasure....The word given me is, let that which these men have written in the past be reproduced." - Ellen White, Review & Herald, May 25, 1905 As one line of reasoning goes, either the pioneers were wrong and the present church is right, or the pioneers were right and the present Seventh-day Adventist Church has apostatized from biblical truth." (Jerry Moon, The Trinity, page 190)
In His earthly life Christ had a beginning. He was born as a human being as we all were but as God, He ALWAYS EXISTED. He took,upon Himself humanity and was obedient unto death even death on a cross for our salvation. Praise God, He rose from the grave and ever lives to make intercession for us. Currently He is in the Most Holy Place of the Heavenly Sanctuary where He is completing the important work of judgment (final Atonement) and blotting out of sins. This is our OPPORTUNITY to make sure that our SINS and NOT our NAMES are blotted out of the records of Heaven.
If Jesus has a beginning, He is not God and thus cannot save us. Jesus/God took humanity but was always God. In Hebews, it is said that He was equal to the Father. You are God, a creator, or a human being, a creature.
I truly believe the person who wrote this sabbath school lesson is not a true seventh-day adventist because the idea that Jesus Christ has always existed is contrary to the Bible. It is a pagan teaching. The Bible clearly says that Christ had a beginning { John 1:1, Proverbs 8:22-30, 1 John 1 , John 8:42} Jesus himself declares "my Father is greater than I."- John 14:28. He also states that "For as the Father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself." - John 5:26. This is the problem that we have with our SDA leaders , they are preaching false doctrines. They don’t care about our salvation that is why they are preaching all of these pagan doctrines . The General conference has departed from the faith a long time ago but they still want you to believe that they’re God’s church. As Seventh-Day Adventists , we do not believe in the Trinity doctrine. Our SDA pioneers believed that Jesus had a beginning : The Scriptures certainly clearly intimate that the existence of Christ had a beginning. (John 1:1), which was not so in the case of the Father. (Daniel and Revelation, p.401, Uriah Smith) The Scriptures declare that Christ is "the only begotten son of God." He is begotten, not created. (Ellen G. White, Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, 07-09-1895, par. 14) While both are of the same nature, the Father is first in point of time. He is also greater in that he had no beginning, while Christ's personality had a beginning " (E. J. Waggoner, The Present Truth vol 6, December 18, 1890, page 409.7) You are mistaken in supposing that S. D. Adventists teach that Christ was ever created. They believe, on the contrary, that he was "begotten" of the Father, and that he can properly be called God and worshiped as such. They believe, also, that the worlds, and everything which is, was created by Christ in conjunction with the Father. They believe, however, that somewhere in the eternal ages of the past there was a point at which Christ came into existence. - {W.H. Littlejohn, REVIEW AND HERALD, APRIL 17, 1883} "Christ was the Lord of heaven and earth, yet for our sake He became poor, that we through His poverty might be made rich. He was made in the likeness of God, yet He humbled Himself and took upon Him the form of a servant, that He might save us." {Ellen White, Lt 133, 1905, par. 6}
Thank you brother your are right, Colossians 1:15 (NKJV) says: "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation and Colossians 1:16-17 says: "For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through him and for him and in all Paul often begins his letters with a greeting that expresses a blessing of grace and peace from both God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ "May grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you." Here are some verses where Paul uses similar greetings: 1. Romans 1:7 (NKJV): "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." 2. 1 Corinthians 1:3 (NKJV): "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." 3. 2 Corinthians 1:2 (NKJV): "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." 4. Ephesians 1:2 (NKJV): "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." 5. Philippians 1:2 (NKJV): "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." These verses reflect Paul's consistent desire for believers to experience God's grace and peace through the relationship with both the Father and Jesus Christ. We have been infiltrated by jesuits who want us to be like other churches but by God's grace you ,I and others will continue to preach the truth

No, He did not. None of those verses says that Christ had the beginning. Ellen White clearly says, "In Christ is life, original, unborrowed, underived." The Desire of Ages 530. Yes, some of our pioneers did believe that Christ had a beginning but we must remember that they are not inspired like Ellen White was. Many changed their beliefs.

Hello I'm wondering why do you skip chapters. First lesson on John I believed we stopped on ch:2. Now with lesson 2 your starting from ch:6, how come?
Please watch the video of the first lesson. This is not a chapter by chapter study on the gospel of John. It is a thematic study on the gospel of John.
Gm pastor Mark,who is Melchizedek?
Great question. Please email us at info@hopelives365.com and we'd be glad to talk to you about it.
Why was the man born blind? Was it because of his parent's sin or did God purposely let him so through him He should be revealed?
That's what satan would like us to believe because he wants to defile the character God. God uses all situations (good or bad) to reveal Himself to us.
Thanks for watching. May God bless you.
Was it possible for Jesus Christ to sin?
Yes, He could sin otherwise there would not be a passage in the Bible talking about Him going to be desert to be tempted. And if He had sinned, Jesus would have died and would have been lost.
@@olivegren6174And all of humanity lost too.
Hebrews 4:15 says, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin."
This verse tells us that Jesus was tempted but He was without sin. The fact that He was tempted shows that it was possible for Jesus to sin. And yet, Jesus did not sin.

Did Christ have a beginning?
The Bible clearly teaches that Christ had a beginning. {Proverbs 8:22-30, John 8:42, John 16:27, 28}
He does not possess a co-eternity of past existence with the Father.
(Daniel and Revelation, p.401, Uriah Smith)
God alone is without beginning. LUJ 10.1
The Eternal Father, the unchangeable one, gave his only begotten Son, tore from his bosom Him who was made in the express image of his person, and sent him down to earth to reveal how greatly he loved mankind.” EGW, Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, 07-09-1895, “The Duty of the Minister and the People,” Par. 14.
The Scriptures certainly clearly intimate that the existence of Christ had a beginning.
(John 1:1), which was not so in the case of the Father.
(Daniel and Revelation, p.401, Uriah Smith)
The Scriptures declare that Christ is "the only begotten son of God." He is begotten, not created. There was a time when Christ proceeded forth and came from God, from the bosom of the Father (John 8:42; 1:18), but that time was so far back in the days of eternity that to finite comprehension it is practically without beginning.
(Christ and His Righteousness, page 21, E.J. Waggoner)
The Word was “in the beginning.” The mind of man cannot grasp the ages that are spanned in this phrase. It is not given to men to know when or how the Son was begotten; but we know that he was the Divine Word, not simply before He came to this earth to die, but even before the world was created.. CHR 9.1
‘‘And as to the Son of God, he could be excluded also, for he had God for His Father, and did, at some point in the eternity of the past, have beginning of days.
J.N. Andrews, Review & Herald, September 7, 1869
While both are of the same nature, the Father is first in point of time. He is also greater in that he had no beginning, while Christ's personality had a beginning "(E. J. Waggoner, The Present Truth vol 6, December 18, 1890, page 409.7)
You are mistaken in supposing that S. D. Adventists teach that Christ was ever created. They believe, on the contrary, that he was "begotten" of the Father, and that he can properly be called God and worshiped as such. They believe, also, that the worlds, and everything which is, was created by Christ in conjunction with the Father. They believe, however, that somewhere in the eternal ages of the past there was a point at which Christ came into existence. - {W.H. Littlejohn, REVIEW AND HERALD, APRIL 17, 1883}
“As Christ was twice born, - once in eternity, the only begotten of the Father, and again here in the flesh, thus uniting the divine with the human in that second birth, - so we, who have been born once already in the flesh, are to have the second birth, being born again of the Spirit, in order that our experience may be the same, - the human and the divine being joined in a life union.’’
- W. W. Prescott, Review & Herald, April 14, 1896
Jesus was made one with God. [See Patriarchs and Prophets, 37, 38.1 His exaltation created envy and jealousy in Satan's heart. {Ellen G. White, 17LtMs, Ms 1, 1902, par. 2}
God is the Father of Christ; Christ is the Son of God. To Christ has been given an exalted position. He has been made equal with the Father. All the counsels of God are opened to His Son. {Testimonies for the church vol 8, p. 268 par. 3}
The Father then made known that it was ordained by himself that Christ, his Son, should be equal with himself;
{The Spirit of Prophecy Vol 1, page 17, Ellen G. White }
"We are to repeat the words of the pioneers in our work, who knew what it cost to search for the truth as for hidden treasure....The word given me is, let that which these men have written in the past be reproduced." - Ellen White, Review & Herald, May 25, 1905
As one line of reasoning goes, either the pioneers were wrong and the present church is right, or the pioneers were right and the present Seventh-day Adventist Church has apostatized from biblical truth." (Jerry Moon, The Trinity, page 190)
Ellen White clearly writes, "In Christ is life, original, unborrowed, underived." The Desire of Ages Pg. 530.
In His earthly life Christ had a beginning. He was born as a human being as we all were but as God, He ALWAYS EXISTED. He took,upon Himself humanity and was obedient unto death even death on a cross for our salvation. Praise God,
He rose from the grave and ever lives to make intercession for us.
Fish plural
Thank you.
I never heard someone say “fishes” before. It doesn’t sound right? I think “fish” is both singular and pleural!
Thanks for your comment. You're right. Fish is both singular and plural. And Fishes can be used when referring to many species of fish.
@@HL365 ok thank you.
I truly believe the person who wrote this sabbath school lesson is not a true seventh-day adventist because the idea that Jesus Christ has always existed is contrary to the Bible. It is a pagan teaching.
The Bible clearly says that Christ had a beginning { John 1:1, Proverbs 8:22-30, 1 John 1 , John 8:42}
Jesus himself declares "my Father is greater than I."- John 14:28.
He also states that "For as the Father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself." - John 5:26.
This is the problem that we have with our SDA leaders , they are preaching false doctrines.
They don’t care about our salvation that is why they are preaching all of these pagan doctrines .
The General conference has departed from the faith a long time ago but they still want you to believe that they’re God’s church.
As Seventh-Day Adventists , we do not believe in the Trinity doctrine.
Our SDA pioneers believed that Jesus had a beginning :

Thank you brother your are right, Colossians 1:15 (NKJV) says:
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation and
Colossians 1:16-17 says: "For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through him and for him and in all
Paul often begins his letters with a greeting that expresses a blessing of grace and peace from both God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ
"May grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you."
Here are some verses where Paul uses similar greetings:
1. Romans 1:7 (NKJV):
"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
2. 1 Corinthians 1:3 (NKJV):
"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
3. 2 Corinthians 1:2 (NKJV):
"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
4. Ephesians 1:2 (NKJV):
"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
5. Philippians 1:2 (NKJV):
"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
These verses reflect Paul's consistent desire for believers to experience God's grace and peace through the relationship with both the Father and Jesus Christ.
We have been infiltrated by jesuits who want us to be like other churches but by God's grace you ,I and others will continue to preach the truth
