I am a samsung s23 ultra user but i am surprised by the front camera stabilization of honor yet camra man tells that its better on s24😅
Because very much cropped video in Honor which is useless, so you couldn't find it is shaking video

That's because the 24U looks better.
The Honor looks way too over exposed and washed in most of these. It's decent for the price I guess, but that's about it in the camera department.
@@brotherhoodofsteel3090well, he explicitly rated the image stabilizer and that was NOT in line with the shown video.
I also had to agree that the colors of the S24 would be closer to reality, but only until he moved on the grass. Obviously the Magic 6 was all the time closer to reality while S24 is jumping at the green contrasts from low to high. The green at the Magic same was always same brightness, contrast and saturation.

The S24 Ultra better software processing/optimisation, which has really helped it in most areas of camera/video. They've had a lot of years to refine which isn't suprising tbh.

@@asaamv not sure but I have used huwaei P10 pro in past , that too used to have Good raw mode but samsung expert Raw and lightroom combination is just best right now .

Can anyone who has an Honor 6 please tell me if their front camera constantly tracks/focuses on your face? There are no settings to turn it off! The settings available are for the front cameras only!
I hope it's only a slip of the tongue when he suggested the s24 is better at selfie stabilization. Otherwise, it could give a distinct impression that he has made a bad judgmental mistake. Look at 1:38, particularly the background lamp-posts and trees, the s24 behaves like there is little or no stabilization at all with the images dancing all over the place, while the Honor magic produces rock steady images
May have been a slip of the tongue or was seeing it differently in the edit but looking back i 100% agree the honor selfie stablisation was better. Of course thats why i show the side by side footage so that everyone can make up their own mind.

hello, can smb tell me does it make sense to buy Honor 6 pro if I want an android phone for photos? ive got iPhone 15 pro max now, and tired from iOS but don't want worse camera cause I make a lot of photos
Magic 6 pro in my opinion is better or this same on photos
But if we check video: winner is iphone

Honor is the Clear winner ❤ you forgot to notice the best dynamic range of Magic 6 and the stabilization of selfie cameras
It's 50 50 I'd say. Some aspects better on each.
Yeh across the primary camera there are shots i prefer of both, but right now with the Magic 6 Pro launch offer it would be hard not to choose it over the S24
Samsung also had an offer, double the capacity, GW6 40mm and 45W charger as presents. So not something that should be used as an argument.

I prefer the colours of the Honor Magic when shooting video so much more. If you could combine the details of the Samsung videos with Honor's colour science that would be perfect. Samsungs video just looks a bit dull and washed out.
yeh the trouble is with the side by side comparrison the high saturation and contrast of the Honor is making the S24 ultra look washed out, i had to take a break and go back and look at the footage on its own as i felt the same.
Some reviewers always hype a phone by saying 24u killer, but when you have them side by side it's a different story but w for the honours battery apart from that the 24u still has the edge on the camera.

I got a new Honor 512GB for 690 euros
He done a test with pre launch M6pro with pre launch software . Where as his S24 is obviously a post launch with up to date software . I got M6pro before launch the camera software was good but once I got the launch software it went to a whole new level. In fact it could easily beat the S24 on all these tests.

color in Honor Magic 6 pro does look nicer because same like vivo x100 pro, their photography has increased saturation which usually favored by people.
Nice comparison.. I will go for magic 6 pro.. cause it's far cheaper than 24ultra.
The biggest difference is price... the S24 costs you a kidney and your first born child, while the Magic 6 will just cost you a kidney.
Here are some technical facts about the periscope lens on the magic6. It's a 200 mp sansung sensor however only using 180mp of it. The 3 main zooms are achieved by cropping the sensor rather than moving parts.
I think really had they thought about it they could have used a zoom periscope making better use of the sensor.
Still I would love to try this out for myself. After all with a 1/1.4 sensor size even after binning the images should be cleaner than rival smartphones. In theory...
I would never trust software processing alone. Shooting raw then processing things to a way you like will almost trump prebaked processing.
Anyway my take on it, using smartphone cameras in auto mode will make your photos pretty generic. Unless you are going for that look I would never use that as a benchmark.
Then you say, then use real cameras then. That would be my thing anyway although in a situation where you might be caught short without one capturing Raw and jpeg/heif at the same time will give you best of both worlds.

You failed to mention that the magic 6 captures a lot more details on the 1x shots. I am not talking about the over sharpening but the real details are captured more on honor magic images.

Honestly the price doesn’t justify the purchase. Of course I’m talking about the 24 Ultra. The differences are too minimal.

I got magic5 pro for my wife and make a lot of camera tests already. And it looks like her 5pro works better. About the telephoto lens - it has 3,5 optical zoom in photo mode and 4.0 zoom in video mode. Much better and useble then 2.5 in new 6pro.
The Honor Magic 6 pro has gone straight to no 1 on the DXOMARK with 157 points !

Impressive video on Magic 6 Pro Main cam, reggarding exposure stability.
First android i´ve seen that almost matchs Iphone.
All androids suffers from exposure shifting during recording. This irritates me.
But a weak point it´s the too raised shadows, looks too much HDR.

I think the Honor phone has some jitter issues while recording videos. However, overall, it does a great job.

crazy from the first camera phone I used in probably 2003 compared to what these things can do these days and people are still not happy lol.
S24 isn't about just photos it's about overall package．

I really like the Honor 6 shots, but I think 60fps for a 4k video should be standard.
I have an s24 ultra, but I hate flat photos, in this comparison Honor has much more pleasing photos, with a much stronger contrast. Which is quite important, I don't understand why Saumsung has such low contrast, the photos look like they were taken in fog or the camera is blurry. Except in the closed case, honor gives a little too much, cartoonish look .. Maybe little more saturated colors but I like it on honor, but Samsung is superb at taking portraits

I Saw an article saying that the honor magic 6 pro had the best camera on a phone and after watching this its pretty clear that yes it's impressive but nowhere near the best.

This honor magic 6 pro I don't know maybe 🤔 I should buy it or not but people are taking about the camera
There is too much saturation and poor stabilization and rampant lens flare in the Honor's video. Only being able to shoot in 30fps on the selfie camera, and a total lack of 8K video recording, means that the Honor only excels in photography. It's video capabilities are not even basic flagship level.

Unfortunately, these Honor devices get very few OS updates. Samsung made an awesome move by giving the S24U 7 years of OS updates.
S24 is better in video. in Photo honor has more contrast but i feel my S22 ultra will do better or even note 20 compared to S24 it feels like a smudge on the lenses.

How selfie camera 📸 12 MP beats 50+2 selfie of magic 6 pro
more MP does not mean better quality images just higher resolution. Only 8.3MP is needed for 4k. My main youtube camera is a 12MP camera and outperforms any smartphone camera by a long way because the sensor is much larger in physical size

I'd take the Magic 6 Pro over the S24U any day.
with the launch offer the magic 6 pro came out at its definitely better value and makes it a great purchase
@@tttechnology Shame it's not available in the US. Hoping to see if any US reviewers grab one of these global units to test cell coverage on US networks. I doubt I'd replace my Pixel 8 Pro with it but depending what the Pixel 9 pro ends up being, I may consider importing one at that time.

I'm on the fence with this. As I don't really care about telephoto images from these type of devices as yet.
Technically the Honor should be the better telephoto shooter on specification alone. Although maybe if you take photography a bit more seriously then using Raw format along with a jpeg/heif is the answer if you want change things later on. I. In the case of both cameras.

With the launch price offer of the Magic 6 Pro it makes it much better value than the S24. Yeh as i said i prefer the flatter look as i want to edit after i've taken the shot, but liked photos from both.
