DId you figure out that you needed to put the wooden washer between the clamp and the arm? LOL! That's what spaces the clamp just far enough away so that you can flip it completely over without the clamp knob hitting the arm. 🙂
Oh thank you so much for your video. Wonder if removing the 2 snaps on the Q Snap would hold your stitchery better. I am so glad you did this video. I had trouble understanding (without really closely reading the instructions) how to attach the clamp. You were a great big help.
I am so glad it got there for you. When my Lowery arrived you could not stop me smiling. ENJOY, welcome to two handed stitching, you will stitch faster.
I grew up around wood as my dad is a carpenter/furniture restorer so love things carved out of wood, the smell of wood is lush. Will be good to here your feed back on how you get on with it. C u soon👋
You could have taken off the Q snap frame clamp on the side of the wood clamp (left side). You Can put thin strips of thin/ medium course sandpaper inside your Q Snap grips that snap into the q snap frame to hold your fabric tighter.
I've been contemplating this system. I like the millennium frame but this is more practical. I think this is perfect! I'm a two handed stitcher. I'm going to get this.
You put it together wrong. The knob with the wooden spacer goes at the top for the clamp. It goes... knob (outside) then arm, then wooden spacer, then clamp. :-) The other knob with the silver metal washer goes to the bottom of arm attached to the base.
Looks really nice. Will look forward to see how you like it once using it a while. I currently use the Lowery frame but this would be great for when I’m not stitching at home. Will you be doing a video showing you using it?
I've just started looking at stands for cross stitch. I do like that this one lets you use your q snap or a scroll frame. Do you still like it? Is there any problem with it staying upright since most of the weight is on one side?
Thankyou looks great.Wondering how do you turn it over to end threads luv to know???Also I use a small piece of non slip mesh matting to hold my material to the Q snap to stop it slipping. Stay safe, how long are you in lockdown for we drop to level 3. next week👏
I wonder if one of these would help solve the neck and back issues that led me to quit embroidery (freehand, not cross stitch), but then I hate to invest in a piece of equipment not knowing for sure it'll work! 😭
This is a really neat lap stand. I have a floor stand that I got from Michael's that I can use with scroll bars or hoops and it does ok except for when I want to easily flip to the backside of the work. I definitely love being able to stitch with both hands and keep from getting cramps from holding the project up in one hand.
I’ve had one of these for 2 years.I don’t think they work well with qsnaps. It gets loose so quickly. If any one has found a solution to that please let me know. I’m a one hand stitcher, it’s just more comfy to hold my work in one hand and stitch with the other. After seeing your video, I’ll dust her off and give her another try.

Stands are great! My step mom used them a lot, very helpful!

If only there was something like this for Diamond painting!
Okay, you did it. You finally convinced me I need one of these. :D
I love my Elan stand. I got mine in January 2020.

Absolutely! I am slowly getting there!
I have one and love it! It handles frames a bit better.
I hope you like it - I used to use this type for a while but ended up packing it up. It didn't work for me due to back issues but my sister loves hers

Yay! Stands are game changers. 😊🌸
It is a unique device. I don't know how to stitch yet though I do plan on learning later.

I've since fixed it. Thanks!
I’m so glad you finally got it in! I’m yelling at you how to put it together! 🤣 the frame flips so you can finish off your thread on the back!

Hello👋 Thank you for sharing 🙂💗👍

Check thrift stores!!
@@RachelRaeCraft fantastic idea! I always feel like I'll never find anything that specific bc I forget I live in TX and ladies here LOVE to stitch
I have one of them
It's gone up to $94 and that's US. It will probably be close to $150 plus shipping. You got it at the right time.
Sorry to hear that!
Have you ever seen the ones from Dubkofactory? Oh man, oolala😄
Oh my GOSH no, I hadn't seen them! WOW!
@@RachelRaeCraft I am waiting on their new floor model to be released, and then I am ordering it in the blue stain. Did you check out the site?
Did I miss the link for the letters to Hogwarts adventure? I would really like to know what it is about?

The spacers are really helpful to keep those qsnaps in place. :) Good luck! Let me know how you get on!
You use both elastic on frames not q snaps
HI YOU ONLY USE ONE ADAP
