This explains so much. I guess my parents got me that happy meal toy at some point when I was a baby but could never find the actual doll later in life. Just the hamburger and the soda but had no idea where they came from.
I had the pink funnel thing for so many years with my dolls and toys and never knew what it was for. NOW I KNOW! It was for my water baby! Which you're right, it didn't do anything, just made the doll heavier. Still fun though. Although, I am glad I didn't have THAT particular one...

I had a Care Bear water baby as a kid it leaked all the time and was extremely messy. It was not meant as a bath toy because it would have ruined the outfits. They had all different kinds including Thumper from Bambi, Dumbo and Elmo each coming with a weird rattle. They were apparently quite popular.

Ayyyy I had a bunch of Water Babies when I was little, I loved them so much. They're basically rubber, hollow baby dolls that you fill with water and seal shut so they're all jiggly. They were pretty cute and felt nice to hold.

I had a Care Bear water baby as a kid it leaked all the time and was extremely messy. It was not meant as a bath toy because it would have ruined the outfits. They had all different kinds including Thumper from Bambi, Dumbo and Elmo each coming with a weird rattle. They were apparently quite popular.

Ayyyy I had a bunch of Water Babies when I was little, I loved them so much. They're basically rubber, hollow baby dolls that you fill with water and seal shut so they're all jiggly. They were pretty cute and felt nice to hold.
