Cut off for the post of CGST inspector from UR category is a bit on the higher side as per ur analysis. It should be somewhere around 650 only. It shouldn't be 657.

I think you are very close to real cutoff...Acc. To my calculation ..the cutoff of ur for excise will be 653-658/700....by comparing with previous years cutoff, density wise etc....

@@inspectorprincechaudhary3896 First promotion is entirely depends on Zone. Mumbai PO currently has the fastest promotion in entire CGL posts. But in West Bengal it will take around 8-9 yrs for PO and 7-8yrs for Examiner (EO) for their first promotion.
