Increíble y armoniosa continuidad de los sonidos con excepcional trabajo en cada detalle de la melodía. Los graves son profundísimos. Genial interpretación. Mario C Ginzburg desde Buenos Aires
Dear Jaap. As Horris Fitzpatrick would say....nah he was brass no mellow tone, .. so as I would say, awesome fat, rounded tone, loved it then in Ebental, love it still. Apologies for scaring you then but now 61 not 16 and a weird but treasured memory x. May your oldening be graceful x.
This is an HIP recording, so he likely has his cello tuned down to roughly A= 415 hz (as opposed to the modern A = 440 hz tuning). That would put the cello to roughly a whole step lower.
Hoy en día todo es lujos y detalles, pero esto, estooo es ADORACION EN ESPIRITU Y VERDAD.
Beautiful playing of these wonderful suites. Love the unhurried tempo in the Cello Suite 1 Prelude....
Thank you. Many years ago I walked into a record shop on Bleecker Street and they were playing this. My go to interpretation, ever since. Exquisite.
I actually dont like the slow tempo used by ter Linden in the prelude 1.
@@marklampo8164 The Ma can be a bit obsessive about authenticity. Most chamber music was written for dance, no?

Suite No. 6 in D Major / D Dur BWV 1012: Gavotte I & II (2:16:24) realmente hermoso...

Where was this channel all this time! Such a pleasure 😍❤
Thank you very much
Beautiful, but I like his other recording of the cello suites better. That's my very favorite!
Maru Kim. The first Suite is in G major! I'm violoncellist
Such 'FullBody', 'Mature' tempo...so Warm 😎
Best rendition and great Grancino cello!
Gracias por despertame con musica del cielo 😌
Thank you, it's so beautiful!! 💙 I love it. 🎵🎶🎻
Love the bass
Lindissimo!! Bravo 👏🏼👏🏼❤️
Nice sound quality and interpretations! Thank you very much (((:
Muy bello
the 5 suite´s prelude is an ouverture alla francese and nobody performs like that...largo e staccato
What do you mean nobody performs like that?
Esta versión es diferente de la que J. ter Linden grabó para Harmonia Mundi?
si
Ok, gracias.
Why is the music not in the original key? The first piece is in F instead of G major!

nice photo of Bach
(yeah, i do am kidding)
thats not bach
there are some hidden voices in between 6,01 and 6,24 or I m in a trip
A bit slow for me but its great regardless. Everybody plays differently.
フィル・コリンズに似てるね
Lovely playing, but a bit too much room and not enough cello for my taste.
