- i love the imp, so this lockout i decided to try him out again. With faster kill times and a larger mana pool, the imp shouldnt run out of mana much.

wich addon is for watch near target frame "sunder armor, Faerie fire, etc"? and addon to watch for ex in kelris who is in sleep phase? just in the right side

Hey man wanted to say a couple things
1. Thanks for the content! I've been enjoying your vids a lot, i'm playing lock for sod and it's my first time playing lock. I learn something new every time I watch.
2. Jubjub has got to be the most high-roll name for imps I've even seen, very jealous.
3. How does little Jubjub not take damage during the Kelris fight? It looks like he's just groovin' in the purple smoke the whole fight but his hp doesn't dip. Similarly, it looks like little mans just face tanked the Akumai breathe too but didn't take dmg. Like I said I'm new to lock so maybe I am missing something.

Thanks for the kind words. Yea, i was pretty lucky with my imp's name. Hope you enjoy the warlock as much as i have been.
Im pretty sure pets have a high tolerence for aoe damage as such. They are killed pretty quick if single target, but they seam to do well with aoe. I dont recall anything to be said by the devs, but i aint complaining.

How much time before the imp gets oom? Does he dps more than succubus with 2 points in Lash of pain?
if talented imp vs talented succubus, imp looks to be doing more on all fights except Kelris. because its a pretty long fight with no downtime. Succubus win on damage for that.
For the rest of the fights tho, because of quick fights, and downtime for imp to regen, imp wins
@@deadnick Thanks ! I think it depends on the global dps also, if imp is oom in 30sec and fights are 1min at low dps, maybe succubus is better ?
Maybe you can dismiss and re-summon the imp to more quickly refresh his mana? If you yourself have mana to spare that is…

Most of my rotation spells have the imp macro tied to it.
Plus i use a macro to target corrupted lightning totem and Jett

for normal solo farming, any talent will do actually. Just use the master channeler, haunt, incinerate rune. If you are farming some elite level mobs, then you may need to go aff for the insta corruption and more health drain

might try this spec out , i noticed you don't even put agony,corruption on targets thats a nice change from affli lock spec lol
yea if you are putting down Lake of Fire, you would want to be casting fire only. Casting COA when moving or phase changes are fine for the extra damage, but my intention was to maximize fire

Question regarding the build, can you share Imp's dps/damage in the raid. It was decent to use this build?
Went thru the logs and talented imp did more than talented succubus for all fights except for kelris. Talented succubus did more damage on that fight

At first boss. Can't you just have ur imp stay beside you? Does he reach from that distance?
These platforms makes the imp do weird things. i have yet to get the imp firing anywhere other than the bosses platform.

I only have 1 point in improved firebolt and my imp pews really fast. Only thing is he runs out of mana quickly
Yea the imp is a beast. It was able to get the BFD raid buff when you un-boon previously... Since it can no longer receive world buffs, it has show to be doing a little less now
You should try Evoker's Mantle, gives way more damage than the Feline Mantle. What stats do you have on your Viridian Band :O?
Yea i got Invokers mantle... this raid was right before they added it in. Viridian Band is just an intel ring. +5 intel if im not mistaken
@deadnick Oh great, would like to see your updated gear. I noticed you are using elvui nameplates, i tried them but couldn't get them to work how i wanted. Did you configure buffs to show lake of fire?
Im actually using plater as my name plates. Virtuoso's plater profile as listed in the description. I didnt have to do anything special on them to show lake of fire tho

yes they get a small portion of your spell damage

Great video! I’m a lock tank but learnt a few good pointers here. I see the UI with the ability cool-downs in the middle of screen what is that? Looks really useful
Thanks. Thats the weakaura im using to track dot timers and cooldows. I've put it up in my description. But be warned that it may not be as intuitive for a tank as ive never worked on being a tank yet
what did you mean by make sure hes phase on baron? like how did you not aggro the boss there
The imp has a spell ability, which you can purchase from the demon trainer, to be phased shifted which allows the imp not to be targeted by anything or anyone

i spam this when there is a warning from DBM that the totem is coming
then spam the other to switch back

@@patwwepatrick So i keybind my /petattack to mouse wheel up and /petpassive to mouse wheel down. I find that easier compared to macroing petattack to abilities.
Very informative video! Can you please teach me how to setup those 2 "?" buttons for Jett and the totem that allows you to select them.
its just an elvui's action bar which ive set up to only show 2 buttons. Just for these 2 macros
