- Friday Night Funkin' VS Soft Mod (FULL WEEK) for the PC in 2160p Ultra HD. but this time BF run away from home to be with pico. He leaves GF, his Mom, and his Dad behind just so he can follow his dream to become a painter and also be with Pico in a love relationship. He does not want to be a rapper. The mod is similar to FNF HD Mod / Fever Town.
The mod creator has included 12 new songs along with some repeats. If you want to skip those just open the chapters. The ending to fnf soft mod will probably be too hard to swallow for some of you. I will showcase the full love story and BF's dream in this video, and we'll be playing it in HARD mode for all Friday Night Funkin soft songs. Will Soft Girlfriend & BF Parents be able to bring back Soft BF? Let's find out!
Game: Friday Night Funkin’ Soft does not stay within canon by any means. It’s a remix of the base story and even though the characters are counterparts/based off of the ones you are familiar with, should not be expected to stick with said canon. Friday Night Funkin’ Soft takes the basic reskin formula and turns it on it’s head. Its a new way to enjoy a beloved rhythm game with a focus on story telling, character design, and creativity. Prepare to fall back in love with the original crew and meet new faces in a world where everything looks so innocent or... at least that’s what it would seem. Follow Soft BF as he attempts to follow his dreams of becoming a painter with his lover Soft Pico by his side. So cute and gentle. It all seems too good to be true...

The one thing I will never stop gushing over in this mod is Mother Mairest. Her entire character design is made for her to look like a caring mother, like in her idle stance, but there’s that little pink glint in her eyes, and the fact that in every sprite she has her eyes on Softie is what makes her so, how do I put it, unsettling? It gives off those vibes of “you will never get rid of me”, with her constant eye on him. Especially since the only sprite where she doesn’t look at him is when she’s centering the stage to herself. Just in her stance, you can tell she’s self centered, and if you look a little more into it, she doesn’t seem like a very good person. Oh my gods I love this mod

This mod is basically a "what if" mod, like What if Boyfriend had family issues and things were more realistic.

I love how everything about boyfriend is more muted in this mod: His colors changed to pastels, his hair is less sharp, He's a lot more timid and is actually afraid of things Its a great touch.

Honestly I don't know why nobody is talking about BF and Pico as an adorable couple, yes I know that is a "What if" type of thing.
But really both of them are supportive of each other, even hell Pico even stuck up to BF's mom and was really worried about him over his issues and trauma.
We need someone with lots of time on their hands to make a fan animation based on this. This is brilliant.
I adore the fact that on the Hope Song in Week 5, after shouting out everything he's been through, the crowd is entirely on BF's side, giving the parents the stink eye. Their rep is 100% ruined now.

idk if this was intentional, but a little thing i noticed is soft BF's voice is actually a little different compared to normal BF. it's less smooth and at some parts a little hushed. He somehow actually sounds less confident, even though it's the same notes and songs.

From what's implied in the dialogue, I think it's pretty obvious that the reason BF/Soft couldn't find it in himself to love GF back was because she's a reminder of the life his abusive parents wanted for him - the life where he becomes a successful singer/celebrity and gets the girl. It's also said that she was brainwashed by her parents that they were meant to be with each other, hence why they're named Boyfriend and Girlfriend.
His parents basically told him for the longest time that Girlfriend is suppose to be the girl he's in a relationship with without even considering what he has to say about it. So naturally, he would rebel and fall in love with Pico instead.

At some moment in week 6, the health bar (I'm not really sure what it's actually called) in the first song, was when I noticed that when Bf started to give their turn, it shows on the health bar being brought down on soft Bf's side. Fun Fact: The Monster isn't actually real, it's just BF's Hallucinations of what he sees his dad as, a true monster, the reason BF was in a whole other ''Universe" it was just his imagination, BF was unresponsive as the hallucination completely occupied BF's mind, leading him to think that all of this is real.

i actually love this because its really a nice touch that bf is afraid of everything and he has such a soft voice when he sings
The songs in this mod have so much emotion in them, it's amazing how much emotion they were able to put into beeps and bops
you know looking at this mod, you never really relise bf's backstory, all we know is that he used to date pico and thats really it, you never hear anything else. this mod is pretty cool with its own lore, bf relises that he shouldnt be afraid he should be brave he has pico by his side, he understands his own self, he isnt afraid of anybody, he knows that pico will never betray him and will be there for him. this mod is possibly one of my favourites, its lore is nice and sad to know about and the original songs are nice.
