Sir - one thing I did not catch from your vid - once the windlass has stopped blood flow stops: do you have to lock down the windlass to prevent it from spinning backwards?

Yes! Always lock the TQ windlass in place after applying.

Can it also be used for wound packing training too?

Not really. The hole for the bleeding is too small for that to provide an accurate representation.
