Has to be if not the best looking, one of the best looking and sounding muscle cars ever built. One thing about Oldsmobile they were a step above everybody else.
Greg Kurtz I always figured that due to the lower production they were of higher quality. Before I drove a 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon a 442 was the quickest car I had ever driven. The Demon took the cake, when I would punch it I would have to be very “aware” and never in a corner like those kids did when they stole multiple cars off the lot lol. Basically I love a nice 442 or I had a beautiful 1971 SX that is one of those things that hind sight is a bit** and I wish I kept it due to its rarity. It had those exhaust cutouts in the rear bumper and a 455 that even with the lower compression due to being a 1971 was still quick if you could get traction with the stock tires Oh well like I said hindsight is a bi***
I had a,67 442 in high school nothing in the parking lot could touch it that car was raw fast power not computer generated like the plastic junk they make today when I stomped in that thing u knew I was, coming when that Rochester 4bbl would open up and roar itcwas, incredible don't know if u guys, had cruise loops like we did where u would go down town and loop around and come back well we had 3 in Lancaster York and leben on pa that car whooped a lot of asses on those loops miss it much
kawzmoe I don't care who you are, or where your from, or opinion on american car manufacturing in general, that rumble of classic big block muscle cars that shakes the ground and makes the hair stand on your head, is concentrated sex. :P
Beautiful car. Revved so smooth. Wonder if there was any head work done to it? I'm guessing it's bone stock. I had a '72 and it sounded so beastly at idle. Love the ram air feeding the carbs cooler air. It's nice to see engineers thoughtful enough to have a functional hood rather than just a heavy chunk of steel covering the engine bay. Edit: I noticed near the end of the video the hood scoops aren't really being used. I'd get the twin mouthed air filter element and duct the cool air into the motor from the scoops.
They did make them with automatic transmission but this is s clone I have a real W-30 and know what to look for ...mine is the same color without spoiler manual breaks & manual steering ... But this car is a clone
Just another clone not a real W-30...was there a duel gate shifter ? Where are the red inner fender wells how about intake? Or letter on head but the fender wells wrong color... They did not show anything that separates the plain 442 from the W-30

True, but a modern Hemi would smoke it, it's sad that there was that 2 decade pause for performance.
I turned my speakers on full bass for this. It's the full, real, rattle that means a it's full, real 455, 442.

Needs rally stripes on rear deck lid spoiler got to go and change the handle on the shifter
I had one it was a convertible everything the same
Put the nob handle on the shifter
Just another clone not a real W-30...was there a duel gate shifter ? Where are the red inner fender wells how about intake? Or letter on head but the fender wells wrong color...
They did not show anything that separates the plain 442 from the W-30
What dope would put mud flaps on a car like this
Nice, no w30, wrong wheels.
