Nu'est W actually was a sub unit that lasted while Minhyun was promoting with Wanna One, they delivered some bops and I love Help Me so muchhhh
I'm glad to see some nu'est vocal appreciation, they're super solid vocally but I dont see nearly enough people talk about it. Especially in the case of nu'est w since they were missing their lead vocal minhyun, the two subvocals aron and ren (he was the one you liked the tone of btw!) really stepped up to fill in his place, and they did so well, that I really doubt anyone would think they were missing a key vocal line member. That said, ot5 nu'est songs really hit differently cause each person brings something to the song. Baekho's strong power vocal, Minhyun's outstanding falsetto/head voice, Ren's unique tone, Aron's stable and easily recognizable vocal color , and of course Jr's deep voice stands out in a group full of brighter ones which really brings it all together. If youre looking to react to them more, some of their older gems you have to check out are overcome, love paint, goodbye bye and I'm bad !

NU'EST is such an amazing group that has been slept on FOR YEARS before Produce 101 happened to them, you should definitely react to some of their older songs, like Hello, Good Bye Bye, Overcome and Love Paint

Technically they did. Their first few releases blew up in Korea (as you can see Face has over 100M views on YT & Lonely was charting really well on Korean platforms), It's just that their company sabotaged them and that's not the members' or the fans/general public's fault.

@@almond2403 not defending pledis...but i dont think an small-average company will sabotage their group...the mistake there is they immediately went to global audience very fastly...like exo...but there marketing team don't have the skills yet..so yeah
@@saur_sop99 Technically they DID sabotage them. If they used their heads and took advantage of their popularity instead of focusing their whole promo on only 1 specific market, they would've been as big as all these popular groups right now.
NU'EST is one of my top 5 fav groups, so I'm pretty happy to have you listening to those songs!
And, well, I have a hate relationship with Pledis, specially because of their history with their former ggs, but there's no denying that they form absolutely great groups

They are amazing, I started following them a month ago and those who do will not regret it, their music is art, you have to listen to it with headphones and you will feel that it is a great production, they went through a lot, they really deserve it all

Instead of giving us news about events for their debut 10th anniversary , Pledis dropped the bomb today that NU'EST will disband just one day (14/3) before the 10th anniversary (15/3). JR, Aron & Ren will.leave Pledis while Baekho and Minhyun will renew their contracts. They will release their last album in March.

This subunit was composed of all members except Minhyun, who was promoting with WannaOne at the time :D (the subunit officially "disbanded" after he came back) Even though Dejavu was released in 2018, it gives me intense nostalgia for some reason nhhytgfrdes. That one dude with the pair of lungs is Baekho - he also produces for the group!

The title track MVs are part of a storyline too. The MV storyline is in order Overcome, Love Paint, Where You At, Deja Vu, Help Me, Universe, and Bet Bet. They are knights searching for their queen.

Yay!!! ive been waiting for this!!! Love all these songs but honestly Deja Vu & Where You At are my faves out of all of them!! Where You At was one of my fave songs of 2017 it's so good i remember i had it on REPEAT that year!! And fifi you ain't the only one that says nu'est that way, i was always saying it like that and correcting myself right away every time i said it for years tbh I still do it sometimes lmao😅😂

I don't know how much you know about NU'EST's history, but as another LOVE said in the comments, NU'EST W (W here meaning "wait") was the subunit NU'EST promoted as from 2017 - 2018 when Minhyun was a member of Wanna One.
Because of previous mismanagement, while NU'EST debuted strong and always (I love sleeptalking XD) had great songs (I think Canvas was included in the best albums of 2016... correct me if I'm wrong, Loves), they came very close to disbanding in 2017. To prevent this, the members decided to participate in Produce 101 season 2 (All but Aron, who was injured). Through the program, NU'EST became known to the public again and gained a lot of popularity. Though only Minhyun got into Wanna one (and it was revealed not that long ago that most of the produce shows in Korea were rigged and that Baekho should have been in the final line up), NU'EST's old songs and albums started charting and selling again and they became a reversal icon. They chose to promote as a subunit because NU'EST is complete as 5, and the "wait" of W means "waiting for Minhyun". Bet Bet was their first comeback as a complete group post produce (aside from single A song for you). Their narrative which started in Overcome (2016), of knights searching for their queen, actually reflected this. It spans in order: Overcome, Love paint, Where you at, Deja vu, Help me, Universe (Minhyun's solo released after he returned to NU'EST, included in the Happily ever after album) and Bet Bet (title song of HEA) (and Fine, since it was used for the last part if the Bet Bet MV).
Deja vu and another NU'EST W song, Shadow, also exist in OT5 versions. I heartily recommend them 👌
