Untitled at both the original and corrected speeds are both beautiful, her voice is incredible, but there's something ethereal about the old slowed down versions
I've been putting off the DL for too long. I'll need to see if I can dig up the files and if I can't I'll try again and then you'll be in luck cuz I'll have to figure out what the number is again. Audacity only lets you multiply it at 3 or 4 decimal points so i couldnt get this as perfect as I really wanted
if I have no luck this weekend you or I will have to download the video I guess. not that those watching this are necesarily audiophiles who would mind
Just tried my hand at it, using the numero group remaster of the 7" for reference. I multiplied the speed by 1.041, sounds about right (you might have better ears than me however). edit: referencing the original 7" rip, using the duration of your video as a guideline, you could probably replicate your upload using 1.064 as the speed multiplier in Audacity. funnily enough, having listened to both versions for a bit, the numero group remaster sounds just a tad too slow to me now.
i think theres an interview with the album download link , its on a video by sanz emo on the description theres a link to an interview blog, just search the band name and im pretty sure you can find the video right away
Great job, but the picture for "Pessimism goes to work" is from the band Friends Unseen :)
whoops. that's embarrassing. everything was just taken from google and a double check would've probably been a good idea
@@ranivacar no, no, a great work nonetheless
Both great bands ;)

Sounds good! Would you mind sharing a dl? If you do: By about how much did you slow it down in Audacity?

Much appreciated anyhow! If you can't find the files I might just try redoing it myself.

how do you know that the other version is the wrong speed?
it is very apparently a recording slowed down, even without reference to the 7"-- most obviously, the warping of the vocals
@@ranivacar yeah it is obvious now listening to the other version again briefly lol, i hadn’t listened to it in a while. thanks for uploading
Can you share a download link? Thanks!
sure, ill do tomorrow
@@ranivacar what happened to that dl link
@@jarlath6815 forgot, will put that up as soon as I can back up my hard drive, my apologies
