Tip for SeaWorld(SA):Come early before they open, near 9:45 and when they open at 10:00,go to the park and you can go to any rollercoaster, just wait for it to open and testing, and you could be the first one to ride it!
Grew up going to this park nearly nearly every summer!! Great White was my first looping coaster, I remember when I was finally tall enough to ride it for the first time😁
Lol I used to work as the ride attendant for steel eel. You may be surprised but this is the biggest SeaWorld park compared to the other parks. So when you say your mostly walking with nothing to do it makes sense. They are in the works to make the orcas more visible like the dolphins but it'll take time. Speaking of the dolphin show used to be the best show!!! No lie!! But they had to make changes because they couldn't afford the expense it to took to make the show possible. Which is sad because it literally is the reason why the beluga is my all time favorite.
@@naushaadnazir897 what are you talking about i think you are mixing up about wht i said about @tiffany kozak comment and for your info i would work there!
I feel like there's some connection between each SeaWorld's Atlantis and the level of theming. Like, this one is basically a Shoot-the-Chute, so there's no need for any theming, San Diego's is meant to be more of a roller coaster, so there should be/is some theming, while Orlando's is a dark water ride/coaster hybrid, and thus is completely themed
It's been forever since I've been even tho I live 10 min from the park I've not been to aquatica yet. Like if you remember growing up going to the OG sea world waterpark
Was there Friday Wonderful park. Everything was walk on most of the day. Wave breaker is great coaster. Plus it's a coaster that helps gets over hump of being scared. Many where hooked after they got off the ride.
jbfavs On Friday. 1st half of the day was walk on to 10 minutes. After 5 about 30 to 40 for Wave Breaker and Steel Ele and Great White was less than 15.
I first visited this park in 2008. The main ticket entrance was back where security is. So you were already inside the ticketed area at the waterfall. We did daily tickets, and the waterpark was included, although I don't remember if it was included for everyone back then (It may have been). I remember just walking into the waterpark, and it opened an hour or 2 after Sea World, just like at Fiesta Texas. At some point between 2008 & 2016, they moved the ticket gates further up, making Discover Point free. I'm thinking that they changed the waterpark to a separate ticket at that point. But I could be remembering wrong. I agree that Orlando is certainly better. Way too much open space with nothing in SA, as you mentioned. Orlando's coasters are far superior. However, I feel that San Antonio's Shamu stadium is by far the best of all Sea Worlds. Not as much seating, but it being in the round & the covering is awesome! Plus, I like getting splashed, and it's much easier to get splashed here, while at Orlando, some sections will get missed. Plus, I love how the waterpark is right there; so easy to go back & forth. No need to drive. Also, it's my closest Sea World park, and I just got a platinum pass for under $200 after fees, which then gets you into all their parks in the country (marine, waterparks, & Busch Gardens). I'll be utilizing that pass well this coming year. The ski & fireworks show was nice to see once, but not a huge deal. There's a band playing during the ski show, and that show works much better as a night show than an afternoon show. Fiesta Texas' fireworks show was much better.
If you go to SeaWorld San Antonio later in the year, the penguin lights will be on. It’s their winter during the summer, so they mostly are in darkness. Also, did you know SWSA grows their own coral in explorers reef so they don’t collect it from the wild? They do a lot for conservation, and there is so much more behind the scenes that guests don’t see. It’s sad the company has such a terrible reputation due to propaganda like Blackfish. If you go back to a SeaWorld park, I highly recommend the killer whale tour, where you get to get up close and meet the killer whales, and learn about how they’re trained. It’s a lot of fun!
Gacha F.x studios no, I have been to SeaWorld more than anyone I know and have been to many camps for SeaWorld, they really do a lot for conservation, you are acting like a gullible ten year old who just a believes whatever they see. Besides, that was one person who said it was true, what about all the others who say it is not?
Gacha F.x studios, why are u dumb , i have said many times this is because they are made of cartilage, which is very bendy and flexible. Believe the experts , not the haters.
I haven't been to SeaWorld San Antonio since the park opened in 1988 thank you for a very informative video I was curious if you would have any information if the Orca shows have been terminated and what it might have been replaced by since its departure thank you very much great video!
The orcas are still there, SeaWorld has announced they have stopped the breeding program, so when this generation of whales passes away there will be no more whales at SeaWorld.
I salute you, man, there is no way I could stay positive in the heat. I went a few weeks ago when it didn't even break 90° and I still felt like I was dying. And I've lived in this area my whole life...
I really want to visit the other 2 Sea World parks, I'm from Tampa so I've seen Busch Gardens and Sea World change through 30 years and been to both WAY too many times.
It’s kind of sad what’s happened to sea world. Side A thinks sea world abuses and beats animals so they will never go. But Side B thinks sea world is stupid for modding shows and stopping animal breeding since they only came for the animals. I hope Busch Gardens won’t be affected by the changes.
Ahhh Lost Lagoon! Do you remember the big slide tower with the bass on top? And when they changed the pirate ship into Bay of Play? Or Azul before they changed it to Oceans of Discovery?
