2) Via Nagasamudram .
Doubling of Railway line via Puttaparthi is difficult as it involves a tunnel too.

4 years is very long to complete dmm-pkd section, Capex cost will also increase. Already trains are plying slowly in hyd-blr route at 50 kmph on average, which is way too slow. Hyd-blr doubling is long awaited.

This work between Dharmavaram- Penukonda started recently only . It is a twin Single line section . Penukonda - Devarapalli can be completed within March or June of 2022 . The section has Maximum Permissible Speed of 110kmph

It is not proposed and sanctioned. Only PKD DMM via nagasamudram is sanctioned
