    I love the look of your blacked out chrome. What did you do or use for the satin black look?

    I'm trying to see how you got the bike up on that home made stand.

      It’s actually a trailer I modified to haul the bike, and it’s just strapped down on a stack of 2x4’s under the frame

    Exactly what I have been looking for. What about the vacuum hose coming off the gas tank?

    • @Trailheaded

      The Vacuum line that runs from the intake to the fuel petcock is required to remain in place for the fuel to flow to the carburetor

      If you mean the one on the right side rear of the tank that goes down under the seat, that's a vent line.

    Great vid. What air cleaner is that? That's the style I've been looking for.

    Great video, also love the custom air filter one. Ill be doing this over march break for sure. I have a question for you. I have an 06 VTX and it kinda vibrates my eyes when I ride at lower speeds. The head bearing was already replaced and its super smooth, no wobble or anything but something makes my head vibrate. Wondering if thats a thing, or maybe its my exhaust or just the low speed V twin chug. Any wisdom?

      I have noticed that as well I just assumed it was my aftermarket handlebars and straight pipe exhaust but I have heard of weights that go into the end of the handlebars that dampen the vibration. I did end up changing out my grips for some that have lots of cushion that seems to help

      @@Trailheaded Thanks man! I also heard the bar end weights. Ill try the grips and see if that changes anything and then go for bar end weights if need be. Nice bike! Those pipes look wicked, are the custom from a local guy?

    Bro I appreciate the tutorial. Any chance you could do a carb cleaning tutorial? I’m trying to get my bike to sound like yours

      My bike is currently put up until spring unfortunately.. also I'm running straight pipes on my bike that make it pretty Loud

    What did you use to block that vaccum line you mentioned at beginning of video that ran to the bottom of the actuator

    • @Trailheaded
      @Trailheaded  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are two hoses that go to the stock air box. one is for the pair valve "you could temporary plug it with a bolt" the other is a crankcase breather I just installed a cheap filter.. DO NOT block off the crank case breather hose
