Burning heart and the eye of the tiger, these two great themes marked my childhood, and now that I am a big guy with more than 40 years, I listen again and I love them. I didn't know anything about his biography about the band Survivor and recently I read that his vocalist Jamie Jamison died of heart problems in 2014. What a beautiful voice that guy had. That force up the stage. But his music and his memory remained in his songs. Very good video Congratulations.

Ive met so many during my career jimmy died too soon for me to have the pleasure of working with. 2 weeks before he died i was able to get a phone call with him to work together on a song he was dead not long after.
I cry every time i hear his vocals because it means the world to me the man he was and music he created. It inspired me to make my career.
I made 1 mil before 18 and i think people like jimmy for inspiring me to start working in the industry so early on. Ozzy funded my early days but jimmy was a big part of my youth as well and i sang his songs as a boy.

@@angelkelley8739 You also Angel was listening and i go into a trance with his voice find myself motivated but than get behind on my work i have it loud and on my tv screen my famliy says why do you have to go in that room and watch him and the other band members and this is his last concerts few months before he passed so not to many views like when he was younger but actually you can see that he gave it his all to the v ery end sure he was in some pain well most of us are at the age did you go to school with himif i am getting to personal you dont have to say but am just so intriqued seemed to have a down to earth life not a showoff do you keep in touch with Frankie it appears many fans dont care for him and also Jim Peterek he is still alive ? What a great musician very talented himself thankyou kindly Angel

Damn it's great to see Peterik do this song on guitar. I wish Toby let Jimi sing the whole song alone though. I know Toby is the lead singer but this is not his song for one and two Jimi was there. Might as well just be full on backup. Even if I was a decent singer I'd never try to steal the OG vocalist's thunder.

Jimi performed the night before again singing Jim Pereriks songs , he joined Pride of Lions to sing as a guest . This shows the class of Toby Hitchcock and Jim Peterik
It looked like in the video Jimi wanted him to sing those parts he did, watch it closely and you'll see he and Toby talking about something like that at the beginnning. I've been watching a few videos of Jimi since I can't seem to get the music out of my head, and one thing I've noticed ALWAYS is that he was a generous person on stage and always seemed to share the spotlight with others-be it another singer or a musician. He never seemed to try to steal the thunder of the other performers (even though he was magnetic and hard to look away from-what a stage presence and force he was!) At least that's how I see it!
Who is Toby Jimi replaced Dave Bickler Frankie Sullivan is the lead guitar guy Jim Peterik is a great piano player he Frank and Dave formed Survivor Sly Stallone could noy get thr rights to Queens songs He liked Poor Man's Son his brother Frank is a singer Sly called Peterik At home he had written Rocky3 and needed a song Peterik saw the presentation of the movie and Wrote Eye of The Tiger then Bickler got throat problems and had to leave the band Stallone called Peterik Again for Rocky 4 Jimi Jamison was already in the band Peterik Delivered and may Jimi RIP Toby who some unknown member died who used to sing with Toto Jimi sang with ZZ Top Burning Heart Introduced Jimi Jamison Rock Star to thr world I minutes on music history

Jimi Jameson is WAAAAAYYYY TOOOO UNDDDEEERRATTTED. This is not the Video to prove that at all. Go spend a few Days or a week and listen to how crisp this guys voice was. The "Vital Signs" record is the best Survivor Record. Eye of the Tiger obviously is the Gem but his days in the band were the best. Sad that we all had to live throughout the 1990's and 2000's and not reminisce about how great "Male Vocalists dong Rock are". Belting out chords and notes and not computer generated songs and plug ins
