  • Ansel Adams is considered one of if not the greatest landscape photographers in history. Here's just a few reasons why.

A highlight of my life was meeting and talking with Ansel Adams. He was a kind and gentle man, and genius photographer.

How do you have only 201 subscribers...well...now 202. When I was using film, I actually adopted (in a half assed way) the zone system. It was arduous work but a great relief from paying rent with Weddings and Bar mitzvahs. Now, at age 75, I use digital cameras, Photo Shop and make prints on an inkjet printer (with various quality papers depending on my disposable income at the moment). I have always been disappointed in Ansel Addams because he could have explore so many other subjects. He could have done nudes. He could have done portraits. It always seemed to me that he stopped when he decided how to make money
