For oil based pommades, a good trick is to use your shampoo on your dry hair to emulsify prior to rinsing for the first shampoo. If you do that and a second shampoo (wet this time), most of the pommade will go away. I’m no hair scientist, but it worked for me!
I'm a Hair Stylist with fine hair. I curl my hair and when I fix it I put a dab of the Reuzel fiber pomade on my roots and it gives me body and makes it look like I have more hair in my style. The fiber pomade is the navy blue can with white.
I like the Pink, but to prevent a real big buildup i always use Reuzel Tonic to keep it kinda clean. Also when i use the pink sometimes i don’t even need pomade for the next 2 days.

Tuan Pham yes. I like heavy hold pomade.last sunmer i mainly used unorthodox&cream pomade(o’douds’shear revival’ grim grease)because of the heat. Started using oil based 2 weeks ago and started to combine more and more (oil based heavy & medium/light but also the unorthodox&cream) and i like it ! It does require some fail and error experimentation but i got great results.
By the way. Lockhart’s groom cream is AMAZING for breaking down oil based pomade !!! First of all it will give you amazing shine.Apply in the morning of you”degrease” day and wash out in the evening(with water or shampoo) or water in the evening and full degrease process the next morning.

Have you tried the lockhart's heavy hold pomade? It's the one in the black tin. It's super lightweight in the hair but is a heavy hold!
