I think that the "home" isn't a physical place, but a mental place in a child's head who's parents are maybe abusive and "home" is a calm place. His/hers/there's(sorry idk correct me) perfect world. The dreams are his/hers/theres parents together but it turns to a nightmare when they divorce maybe and the child is lonely, there's nobody around them that understand them. The streets are crowded but they don't talk to anyone, they're alone.

I used to be homeless until my best friends mother took me in gave me a job food and shelter then she helped my get a bus ticket to move down to Florida to be with my family again now I live with my grandparents but my grandfather isn't like he used to be cause he doesn't make this feel like home and for the first time since I was a child I want to run to my mother and cry in her arms while telling her all of my feelings cause she is one of the few people who has never given up on me and she's my greatest reason to live I'll stop ranting now but she's my home this song makes me think of her arms protecting me from the world

Six years ago, my life shattered. Tomorrow, I'm getting adopted into the family of the people who helped me pick up the pieces and glue them back together again. Home isn't four walls and a roof, it's the love of everyone you hold in your heart and who hold you in theirs.
