My personal methods of electric unicycle control . I decided to organize my intuitive skills and riding style . In reality I use them in combinations at instinct level ( as a lot of riders )
This is the most comprehensive, visual, concise and exhaustive tutorial I’ve seen on the subject.
Great job 👌
Even though I do all these styles it’s actually awesome to see it broken down as we tend to do it automatically. Cool vid bro!
Wow. Been waiting for a vid like this.
While I do all these style regularly. Codifying my own movements is even more empowering. Thanks making this
Great explanation.I am just just just starting leart to ride my EUC a I am mixig some styles you've described together. I seems to me useful to learn them separately to get better at those skills. Thank you for great explanation!
As a new rider these simple break downs are very helpful. Thank for sharing
great channel subbed
EUCs are turned by twisting and|or tilting them. Method #1 requires the EUC to be tilted inwards while rotating shoulders, otherwise rotating the shoulders will result in method #4's counter rotation. Method #6, on EUCs with big gyro effect, more accurately described as angular momentum, the EUC resists being tilted due to that angular momentum, and requires applying inwards pressure on the outside upper pad which will coexist with putting outwards (sideways) force on the outside pedal, which is why spiked pedals should be used, to prevent from slipping off the outside pedal. At these speeds, a rider leans much more than the EUC is tilted, so the rider hangs off as seen in this video, which makes it easier to apply that inwards pressure on the outside upper pad. Twisting an EUC to steer is mostly done at low speeds. For tilting an EUC to turn, I think of 3 basics methods, #1 pedals only with no pressure on the upper pads, #2 pressure on both inside and outside upper pads, #3 pressure only on outside upper pad.
That is very informative and deeper explanation of technic . Everyone do this by filling , because there is no any school of advansed riding , like in any sport as skis etc
so much detail. this is one of my favorite instructional videos now 👍
good points
Excellent. You also included that some techniques are speed dependent. Most tutorial videos omit that part. At higher speeds, turning techniques will change due to gyro effectiveness. Took me a few months to figure that out.
Awesome 😎 thanks brother!!🙏
The video I didn't realize I needed. I spend the majority of my rides using #1 and #6 🤙
I’m here for this type of stuff. I’ve never looked at another tutorial I just bought one and learned to ride.. now I want to fine tune. This helps a lot. Keep it coming.
so smooth 😎
Kinda like turning while wheelieing a bike, you pivot your lower body while dragging your upper body with you at slow speed, or on a bike pivoting your shoulders
Love it, I like the standing posture examples given in the park. You found what I needed to comprehend turns and carving. Dude... can't way to go try this out. You're officially in my book marks!
#6 is similar to how motorcyclists hang off a turn. Open up the hips and legs, stick the knee out, keep the center of gravity low and inside the corner or turn.
There is one more way to turn and that is the stop and twisting of the tire in place to face the new direction.
Freakin awesome video, dude! I wish I could whip my EX30 around like that. I’m not there yet.
oh wow, very nicely illustrated!!!!!~~~~ Spectacular!!!
Excellent Tips!!🔥🔥 Thanks for sharing!
Good tutorial, thank you.
beautifully executed... what a wonderful viewing and educational experience!
Best training video ever
Nice 🙂
Great tips. I find myself riding with a combination of all these methods depending on the speed I am riding. All super fun. The most fun method is the last one, but also the most tiring imo
Thank you 😊
superrrrr+555555
I like to call the last one the motorcycle turn. Feels like sticking your knee out in the direction you want to go in
Algo
Interest. I started with method 4 as I have a background in acoustic unicycle riding. I've had to learn the other methods
Great vid! New sub here!
Thanks for intrecting think for euc turn technik. I always use 1-2 this trchnik but nessery mind for all
Süper. Thnx for sharing.
I can't hula-hoop but I'm going to learn this.
It takes dedication but you're gonna love it! It's the funnest toy I've ever had in my life. I'm 58 and just starting to get good.
A couple hours and I'm sore and humbled@@user-ke9yk5qp3u
Hi ! Perfect tuto ! What is your troucer with protect ???
Hi ! Thank you ! I use Alpinestars Bionic Tech V2 under jacket or REVIT ECLIPSE in summer
@@adrenalineaddicted2551 thankssss and for your pants ?
@@papalimamike4943 just regular pants and knee leat dual axis guards
which euc you are riding? I just got the begode master and learning to be able to carve smoothly, its not as easily as on my Patton
This is Begode ex30 . Good luck in carve mastering 😉
Did you use the tire spacers in your video?
Nope . I like gyro effect of this tire as it is (medium) . Tire is michelin pilot street
This is very informative, but how is one method superior into different situations?
I tried to do my short overall view based on my experience . I think this can be a topic for next more ditailed review
Are you riding with the stock air shock?
nope . FOX RACING K FLOAT DPS
@@adrenalineaddicted2551 Awesome! Thanks for the info.
thx for comments 😉
@@adrenalineaddicted2551 Your welcome
How's the air compared to coil? @@adrenalineaddicted2551
