I feel as if not many people understand the weight of these words. Primal distance was created when earth was born, the sea and sky grew apart in the first 0,000000000...1 of a second. It's the first distance, the original one. Parkway is comparing that first primal distance to loneliness. The loneliness that was born within him was the primal, original one, the definition of being alone when someone was let go. It fucks me up every time I hear that.
