You know what, after seeing this video I'm actually kinda sold on this game. The PvP looks pretty interesting and fairly complex. I'm actually kinda glad they didn't just go the Sea of Thieves route because frankly it would have been wasted, and they would have just done it worse.
Bro try building a tank, add +15% less damage to it. The shots will barley do any damage to you when you brace. Also you have 50k hp with the tank ship.
I do plan on messing around with a tank build at some point. I really like the idea of the ship and have done some PvP with it already. There a couple peaces i want to get for it first before i dive deep into that ship and what it can do.
Love the vanguard class ship just got mine today put almost the same build but Instead of the fire bombardment cannons on the front of the ship, I have the ghost ships sea flame weapon and it’s pretty nice with getting to close burns them like crazy lol

its depends on the ship and its passive perks, personally i run a build that focuses on crew attacks and i can melt players fairly quickly and they arent able to do much about it since when being crew attacked youre essentially disabled for about 2 -3 seconds, buddy runs a ramming build one hit and he chops off about half your health

So i have changed my wheel and moved Rapier kits to 1-2-3 and my stam food onto 4. You can do this by opening the wheel and hitting C. Changing them in this way will make for faster use of healing and keeping your stamina up allowing you to focus on sailing and shooting etc. Hope this helps.
@@TheJAZC15 The wheel has 8 slots, but only the cardinal (Up, Right, Down and Left) map to keys 1,2,3 and 4. So put the important things into those slots as @mrglotch8957.
They’re releasing large ships in future updates. They have ships for different classes like tank dps and support. What they’re on now is trying to make large ships be able to navigate some of the narrow corridors in map

Yea i think they should add a PvP server or somthing. Having PvP on all the time will add another layer to the game that in my eyes it really needs. They did have PvP servers at one point. Fingers Crossed

Sounds like you're just blurting out a bunch of buzzwords to rationalize not buying the game. It's ok to just not like it and not buy it. What is shown here is not a cheese build at all, and there are no "gank squads" when the entire concept of this PvP mode is literally capture the flag (aka everyone goes after you because you have the flag). Before you "criticize" a game and blurt out cookie cutter buzzwords from other communities and games, make sure you first know the game. You just sound silly.

I just don't know why they didn't add the 3 bigger ships immediately, let them cost 10k gold each and we all would need the time to grind all 3 ships. And now I don't know what to do, I could buy Africa and India for 5k each to get more gold, but I think the red islands is more than enough to generate gold, and if I have to take care of even more spots I wouldn't do anything else anymore than collecting and refinancing. I think we are missing a big boss or something else to farm for that is really hard to beat, but with high rewards. So you have to make several ships work and find teammates to beat these hard bosses with.

But mainly Pve - in less then 3 days I had most of the ships and upgraded them so needs more . PvP side things lets it down . Hopefully they an option to do PvP add it in the end game . As Pve is limited .
The open beta was only part of the game. There is quite a bit of gear and ships as well as events that we cant do atm. There is also another PvP event thing that we did not have during the open beta. I am hoping PvP servers come or they add more PvP elements. I am excited for the other pvp event.
I am not sure what you looking for in a sail era type game. If you want a simulation Navel action MMO is great and if you want to run around freely Sea Of Thieves is there. I personally enjoy the PvP but i can understand and respect why people dont. It wont be for everyone. Luckily there are other options ^^

Yea. We need to see how the end game builds are. This is more mid game. If your managing your consumables you can be quite hard to take down.
So what I'm seeing here is the little fire elemental mortars are the best for dps in pvp based on the first 5 mins

You only lose commodities, foods, crafting mats. You wont lose your gear.

Well it being the fastest ship for solo play it is the best ship if your really trying to get your peaces of 8 or Tresure map back.

so far there's only 3 - 4 events that come up or can be started by a player in order to actually be able to PvP and they come up regularly imo
