I have been breaking out these days and super nakakababa siya ng self-esteem considering na palagi akong humaharap sa mga tao as a teacher and kapag kausap ko sila I always think na in some ways they are judging my appearance because of it. I've been using Cerave Acne Control Cleanser and Daily Moisturizing Lotion for atleat 1 month, ang napansin ko po is in the 2nd week of using the cleanser, nagstart mag overproduce ng oil sa face ko lalo na sa nose part hindi siya visible pag tinignan pero pag hinawakan o pinunasan grabe talaga yung oil, na notice ko rin na wala na yung mga blackheads sa nose ko pero yun lang naging oily siya, ang question ko po is sa paggamit ko ng skincare products ko lumiliit at nawawala yung mga acne at pimples ko pero bat pag may nawawala o lumiliit na acne kinabukasan may bago nanaman na magpo-popup, parang endless loop, ngayon lumiit or nawala yung isang acne ko tas the other day may magpo-popup nanaman, kaya parang sina sayang ko lang ang pero ka sa skincare pag ganito nangyayare sakin. Sana masagutan mo po.

Nag clear na yung acne ko last year as in ang ganda na ng face ko dahil pnag take din ako ng isotret from august-feb (pro di ko natapos yung feb) tas after 3-4mos bumalik sya ang sobrang oily yung mukha ko unlike nung di pa ako nag take ng isrotret. 😭 sobrang nakaka frustrate sobra huhu

If you have acne, better go to the derma to have it injected right away. Okay na yung 200-250 Pesos na gastos kesa magpatreatment kapag naging baku-bako ang face mo.

thank you sir! at 37 y/o ngaun lang ako nagkaroon ng acne breakout. curious talaga ako sa benzoyl peroxide. currently using adapalene, and glad to say it works naman - nag-dry ung ibang acne ko pero bumabalik - still using adapalene. of course - sinasamahan ko ng PATIENCE - like what you said :D watching from Dubai, UAE God Bless to your channel :D just subscribed :D
So glad na-direct ka agad to the right medications!! 😄 My mistake before was doing just adapalene or just benzoyl at different points sa acne journey ko. Then na-enlighten ako ng derm ko na they're better used together, kaya rin merong mga meds that have both of them in one, like si Epiduo. 😁 Wishing you the best sa acne journey mo!

Yes but a lot of them face-to-face na ang prefer. May iilan pa rin na makakachamba ka na online, but a lot of online consults are paid na like via sa KonsultaMD
What about if gusto ko magpa-consult sa derm but I live in Dubai kasi so very expensive siya, as in VERY. So I want to consult pero online, sa Pinas. Would I be able to buy the medications here in Dubai even if prescribed siya ng Dermatology sa Pinas?
In my opinion it's worth a try, as long as you know that the Filipino derm will provide an actual prescription document. You also have to tell them your intent to buy these medications in Dubai. One thing I learned sa solo travels ko (with the many times na na-delay ang baggage ko with my acne meds inside 💀), pharmacies around the world are not so much "standardized" in terms of handing out medications, and usually may social aspect to it. May mga iba na kahit prescription-only, binibigay ng pharmacist if they feel the person really uses it. In your case, gagamitin mo naman talaga and you'll have a prescription from your doctor. Retinoids like tretinoin might be especially easy to get in Dubai for a fair price, but ang di ko lang sure are the antibiotics, lalo na kung oral.

If you take isotretonoin for how long did you take it? Cos ive seen comments of people who experience worst long side effects including liver problem, hairloss they need to wear a wig, bone problem, eye problem etc im takin it for 2 months now i can say the journey is hell it affects my mental health i have few pimple before when i start taking it the purging state leave me so many acne i marks was thinking of stoppin it cos of long term side effects i got dysmenorrea which i dont really experience before having a period and my ulcer is comming back i dont think my derma care what i experience i told her about this but she told me it's a different issue my toenail also is swollen which is not normal im wondering when i stop it am i gonna experience purging again
I took it for 6 months and the worst side effect I had was just dry lips! The side effects are not gonna be the same for everyone, and those that you mentioned (liver problems, hairloss, etc) are very avoidable with proper communication + precautions with your dermatologist. Things like these happen when people take them without dermatologist guidance. Also, 2 months is still VERY very early to expect anything from isotret-some take 6 months before they see results. But if you feel like you can't do 6 months, you should be able to communicate that with your derm, or get a second opinion from another derm. Not all derms are the same and some have different strategies in treating acne. It's also important to remember that while isotretinoin is the strongest acne medication, it's not the only option. There are plenty of acne medications that derms can prescribe-it's all about what is most compatible to you. So I hope you don't treat this as a "dead end" but as an opportunity to find the best medications for you. 👍
I'm a trans woman halos na try ko na lahat topical and oral, pati sa derma. Pero walang nag work. Isa lang naka pag clear ng acne ko diane pills lang and I'm 10 yrs free of acne na❤

Meron talagang mga ganyan, dati nga yung pinuntahan kong clinic narealize ko yung nag-aaya sa akin was not a derma pala, parang "consultant" lang kaya ang daming gustong ibenta. Beware sa mga ganyan. A repsonsible derm will be willing to discuss not just in-clinic treatments with you pero yung history and gamot talaga. Sign yan to switch to another derm. 👍

2018-2019 gumamit ako ng isotretinion, 3mos palang nagclear na skin ko. Pero nahinto dahil sa Pandemic, bumalik acne but soon dadalaw ulit.

currently using adapalene, and glad to say it works naman - nag-dry ung ibang acne ko
pero bumabalik - still using adapalene.

So glad na-direct ka agad to the right medications!! 😄 My mistake before was doing just adapalene or just benzoyl at different points sa acne journey ko. Then na-enlighten ako ng derm ko na they're better used together, kaya rin merong mga meds that have both of them in one, like si Epiduo. 😁 Wishing you the best sa acne journey mo!

Adapalene is whole face, benzoyl peroxide spot treatment if yung leave on ang product, especially for beginners.

Yes but a lot of them face-to-face na ang prefer. May iilan pa rin na makakachamba ka na online, but a lot of online consults are paid na like via sa KonsultaMD
What about if gusto ko magpa-consult sa derm but I live in Dubai kasi so very expensive siya, as in VERY. So I want to consult pero online, sa Pinas. Would I be able to buy the medications here in Dubai even if prescribed siya ng Dermatology sa Pinas?
In my opinion it's worth a try, as long as you know that the Filipino derm will provide an actual prescription document. You also have to tell them your intent to buy these medications in Dubai.
One thing I learned sa solo travels ko (with the many times na na-delay ang baggage ko with my acne meds inside 💀), pharmacies around the world are not so much "standardized" in terms of handing out medications, and usually may social aspect to it. May mga iba na kahit prescription-only, binibigay ng pharmacist if they feel the person really uses it. In your case, gagamitin mo naman talaga and you'll have a prescription from your doctor. Retinoids like tretinoin might be especially easy to get in Dubai for a fair price, but ang di ko lang sure are the antibiotics, lalo na kung oral.

If sensitive skin mo, iwas ka sa mga fragranced and alcohol-based products. Nakakasmooth and moisturize ng skin. Nawala dryness ng sensitive skin ko. Mura lang din. 200± for 600ml ang refill.

If you take isotretonoin for how long did you take it? Cos ive seen comments of people who experience worst long side effects including liver problem, hairloss they need to wear a wig, bone problem, eye problem etc im takin it for 2 months now i can say the journey is hell it affects my mental health i have few pimple before when i start taking it the purging state leave me so many acne i marks was thinking of stoppin it cos of long term side effects i got dysmenorrea which i dont really experience before having a period and my ulcer is comming back i dont think my derma care what i experience i told her about this but she told me it's a different issue my toenail also is swollen which is not normal im wondering when i stop it am i gonna experience purging again
I took it for 6 months and the worst side effect I had was just dry lips!
The side effects are not gonna be the same for everyone, and those that you mentioned (liver problems, hairloss, etc) are very avoidable with proper communication + precautions with your dermatologist. Things like these happen when people take them without dermatologist guidance.
Also, 2 months is still VERY very early to expect anything from isotret-some take 6 months before they see results. But if you feel like you can't do 6 months, you should be able to communicate that with your derm, or get a second opinion from another derm. Not all derms are the same and some have different strategies in treating acne. It's also important to remember that while isotretinoin is the strongest acne medication, it's not the only option. There are plenty of acne medications that derms can prescribe-it's all about what is most compatible to you. So I hope you don't treat this as a "dead end" but as an opportunity to find the best medications for you. 👍

Love that for you! Kaya rin talaga I wanted to emphasize yung role ng hormones sa vid, especially kasi kapag born biological male we have a lot of androgens. But love that in your transition to be your true self na-solve din ang acne 🤍

Meron talagang mga ganyan, dati nga yung pinuntahan kong clinic narealize ko yung nag-aaya sa akin was not a derma pala, parang "consultant" lang kaya ang daming gustong ibenta. Beware sa mga ganyan. A repsonsible derm will be willing to discuss not just in-clinic treatments with you pero yung history and gamot talaga. Sign yan to switch to another derm. 👍
