i just used two bottles of this on my v10 tdi, one in each bank, i kinda wish i would have doubled up since the buildup was really really bad, a good 1-1.5cm of sludge. it made a great difference in throttle response and it sounds awesome tho

Loved the fact that there was no knocking in the engine when the RPM increased from idle to 2500 RPM as the 1.5 TDI are prone to. The fact that you are using these products gives your subscribers confidence to use them.
my opinion if u done like this then all carbons going to the partikalfilter and this is big issue also . for mire better result . open and clean . and then after every 1000km use this spray . i mean not all the spray but u can spray this between 1000 to 5000 km one bottle . i am not mechanic but if u understand that all manifold carbon goes to exhaust direction and burn . better open and clean and then regular use . what u think?
Skoda Rapid 1.6 TDI NA2 (2014) So I have a question. I cleaned my pipe from air-filter to turbo last year. In a few days from now I am planning on completely opening the anti-shudder valve, the EGR system pipe & the intake manifold and giving them a proper cleaning using some diesel. Now comes my question, should I go 1 more step further and use a product like this to make sure the entire system is thoroughly clean after I've put everything back together (considering a diesel soaked cloth can't reach everywhere :P), or do you think that this exercise will be unnecessary?
Sir , It can be a good idea , because even after cleaning the intake , shudder valve and egr return , your manifold runners and valve-stems can still have a little bit of deposit , which can be reduced with the help of this product

Now question is did i do it right or wrong spraying it on turbo as there was only turbo after air filter and maf sensor? If right then why theres white haze and malfunction light? And if wrong how deep trouble i am in? Please reply please Thanks for your help

Sir this cleaner claims to do egr as well but i suspect that , there is a different egr cleaner by liqui , you can use that And best spray port is to open one of the egr outlets and spray it damp and then let it soak overnight

If need to open the other side, it's difficult.. can we find the egr block by vcds? Sir why you don't go for a Italian tune-up Basically , egr system is capable of self cleaning , you just have to drive in desired way , Like if you drive at speed of 70 in 5th gear then the engine speed is 1800-1900 rpm Just drive on 70 but in 4th gear engine speed will be around 2200-2300 and exhaust gases will create a good temp. To burn the carbon and throw it out of exhaust pipe and occasionally take the engine till 4000 rpm to clean the egr and exhaust system You will never encounter any egr issues
Ok guys,i have already done this process with the Liqui Moly. Please be warned and learn from my experience,approx one week after this process my EGR cooler valve failed at only 36,000 miles. When the EGR valve was removed and replaced,i found the old egr had become wet and clogged with black carbon soot. So much so that the recirculation gas valve which is controlled by the electric motor had stuck open. The point is the carbon build up inside the valve was wet,normally it should be dry. I firmly believe that the Liqui Moly solution caused this EGR to fail,due to causing a wet carbon sludge in the EGR valve mechanism.

Have you faced Any clutch slips ? Because if something was wrong on engines front then it will throw a light on dash . Feels like , clutch is getting worn and most probably will go down in next 20k kms To check that , fill up your tyres to 36 psi ( cold ) all around and then try to drive , if it feels ok after over-inflation then 99% of chances are clutch is on its way
Sir if you really want to keep your DPF clean then you need to keep 2 things in mind 1. Never drive that engine cold , give it some time to warm up 2. Never lug the engine on name of fuel efficiency , rev it to the ideal level before shifting At-least 2k rpm before shifting. You will never face any DPF or cateletic convertor blockage issues . And that cleaner will help to clean the deposited carbon buildup inside the intake system. Hope it helps
Hiya bud recently had issue w my car, turned out to be extreme carbon buildup in the manifold, got it diagnosed and completely sorted, was 400£ labour bill to clean all the carbon - cars got 100k on the clock- wanting to avoid this happening again, would a dpf&egr delete stop carbon build up? Sir this problem usually arise when we drive the car in relaxed manner for long periods of time + short trips where engine is not even able to warm up also increases the chances of this happening , i will advise you to rev the car to the limit atleast once a week and for like for 3-4 kms of driving , engines are perfectly capable of cleaning themselves but all they need is good enough exhaust temperature , drive in speed limit but rather than driving in 5th gear stick to 3rd for 3-4 kms and your engine will create enough heat to burn the carbon deposits and they will get cooked and chip off .( Its called Italian tune-up )

Dpf and egr delete will definitely help manifold, shudder valve and other parts from accumulating carbon, that is if you drive short trips. If you drive the car longer than 10 minutes above 50mph daily you wouldn't have much carbon buildup. It all depends on the driving style.
This spray wont fix the problem but it will ruin the paint. Do not spray on the car paint...I felt like engine may freeze while keeping the RPM high while spraying the can. I used half can and stop doing this stuff...I will give it to showroom to clean EGR.
Its controlled by a electronic actuator which gets its signal from ECU and ECU gathers data to open or not based upon the reading of vaccume and turbo boost pressure sensor .

Sir , they are never supposed to be used , they are corrosive and can damage the internal components , definately not the metals but rubber seals , oil rings are definitely are at a risk . So change your engine oil on time and use a good quality engine oil is more than an engine needs
Sir if we add this from the turbo inlet , then there are alot of chances that it will get stored inside the intercooler and then come in cylinder when we are driving , and we don't want that .

Sir no troubles 😅 don't worry Engine light came on because the engine control module has a range in which it expects the data from MAF sensor and as soon as you disconnected the hose , now the MAF sensor is not provided the data in that range which is known to ECM , so it threw a light on the instrument cluster. White smoke is because when you are adding the cleaner ultimately we are making the combustion mix rich ( too much of fuel to burn ) and some part of it will remain unburnt , that's why you observed the white smoke .

Hi @yourdiyneeds I just want you to try VEEDOL 5W30 API SN ENGINE OIL (Tried it because its indian but it is really good Previously i tried shell and castrol but Veedol is significantly different) I tried it and it significantly reduced engine vibration and performance. Tried in polo 1.2 petrol and 1.6 tdi at the same time You should try this and make a video

Any risk this will clog the DPF? Especially since cars with dirty intake probably also have high ash level in DPF?

Sir if knocking starts then you need to switch off the engine and then spray at increased intervals to avoid knocking

deep scratch / grooves on rotor disc .. have to skim disc rotor ... vibration issue while braking in high speed
Yes sir , Get them skimmed on a good machine shop and then use new brake pads for best results , make to sure that you do brake bedding .

White smoke is because when you are adding the cleaner ultimately we are making the combustion mix rich ( too much of fuel to burn ) and some part of it will remain unburnt , that's why you observed the white smoke .

(Tried it because its indian but it is really good
Previously i tried shell and castrol but Veedol is significantly different)
I tried it and it significantly reduced engine vibration and performance. Tried in polo 1.2 petrol and 1.6 tdi at the same time
