With the GW press-fit models, I have found that if I cut the pegs off and use glue I get a good seamless look. Then if you like use some really sharp nippers to cut arms off if you want to do some arm swaps (like putting space marine arms on your stormcast eternals).
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature I was gifted two sprues of the el cheapo primaris intercessors to make an intercession kill team, and I am finding that if I really take my time on clean up and assembly they actually tart up pretty well.
I think this will be the next warband I get for Underworlds. Oh, and I had the same issue with my Crimson Court cards that you did, but not as severe. Only a few cards were marked up, but I don't feel like returning anything, so I just fixed up the cards as best as I could and I'll just deal with it. Shame though considering the price.
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature Guess I'm a real heretic then. Never sleeved cards for any game I ever owned. I like the wear and tear. Gives them character. Still play my original Hero Quest game all these decades later with unsleeved, beat up cards. Just adds to the nostalgia. Only card I have ever sleeved is my original Lord of the Pit from the Alpha deck of Magic The Gathering.
I don't think sleeves were even a thing when Magic first started out, were they? If I'd only known better to take care of those Arabian Knights and other early cards! All those scuffed up dual lands from heavy use....
As for asking about buying the nethermaze starter set, no! You don’t necessarily need them, but they do come with the gloom tokens (which you can either purchase independently or proxy). I haven’t bought the starter set but I just keep up with the rules only when I play tournament style.
That's helpful to know. I came across an open copy at a local shop recently... but somebody had kept the Skaven or themselves, which I'd much prefer to more elves, even if the ones in the box looked pretty cool. Come to think of it, I have yet to paint or build a Skaven warband for Underworlds! How'd that happen?
I was never a fan of the main slaughter priest model, he just looked like a big doofy football player with an axe. This guy is much more what I wanted. He looks like a priest who can kick some major ASS!
This is a Khorne Blood Bowl booster too, you get the Bloodbeast, Coach and Apothecary all in one box. I'm picking up my box Saturday!!!
I was going to skip them, now I want them.

That's definitely a good way to do it!

Yeah, I figure worst case I can put them in sleeves to help keep things more presentable (as I'm a bit of a heretic and play everything unsleeved).

Khorne, now with more Kali-Ma!

They look like they have been pulled straight out of Conan the Conqueror. Which is pretty metal, I guess GW still has some soul after all...
They're a cool set. Cool enough for me to already have them painted, in fact!

Yeah, that is a much more priestly headdress. Should've led with him in the first place, if you ask me!
