sorry, I can't understand how career politicians get to run a country, with no life experiences, that goes for the existing Govt, running the country of NZ.
um, they're not infants. Also, the NZ population is made up of people of various ages, so it's actually appropriate that Parliament represent *some* of that range. If it makes you feel better, politicians skew older than the demographics of the population in general. I mean, Chlöe is less than 1/2 my age, but she sure as hell is a lot more intelligent, energetic and capable than I would be as a politician.
@@Trixtah I think it started with Helen Clark and her govt, career politicians, never having worked in a paying job in their adult lives and I don't count when they were uni lecturers, practicing telling people what to do. Being intelligent still doesn't make up for having toiled at the daily grindstone, IMHO.

The structure of the referendum served commercialization, while not serving those who wished to grow their own. It was incomplete. Nevertheless I supported the move, as a change in the right direction. We see now that the status has changed in the USA. Convictions destroy lives.
