this is great. i've heard this lament before, and it's blatantly obvious that all Thoth had said has come to pass... thank you for putting this together! some constructive criticism tho... the audio balancing sounds like it needs a lot of work. the music at times overpowered the words you were speaking, and in general the edited in music/other audio sounds distorted... clean these up and i think you'll have a solid channel here.
I'd imagine it was a lot like the game telephone back in the days where not only did you have illiterate individuals attempt to retell the story, but the geographical and time limitations distorting all of this. In addition, let's not forget that the Greek "gods" were given new names for the Roman pantheon (e.g., Jupiter, etc.).
