    That turned out nice. I sort of did a job like this a few weeks ago. Dug out the stumps and grappled the brush off the house pad. I used my power rake to clean the small debris off the lot. The contractor told me that it was the best end result he had ever gotten from anyone and that from now on, he was going to call me. I just laughed because I usually don't do jobs like that since I run smaller equipment and lot cleaning is hard on the equipment. Oh well, I guess I may have worked myself into a new line of work. Great message brother.

    Well I was gonna ask how you like cleaning up with the grapple bucket, but then you talked about it. I’d like to get a cat root rake maybe. Not sure what kind of set up I’d like but a brush grapple of some sort would be really handy. I agree the double clamps is the only way to go. At the beginning I thought you might be tossing that stihl in the burn pile lol. That’s message really hits home. I’ve been consumed with work my whole life. I kinda freak out when I don’t have something to do. I don’t really remember how to relax. I was just thinking about that yesterday. Not looking for riches but I wanna get to where I can pay these bills and spend time with my family. Hope and pray I get there before it’s too late and I’m regretting my decisions.

      Right, not to happy with this grapple. Could you tell I was considering the demise of the Stihl? Yup, it's a battle to stay focused on what is important. @@tristardiggin I agree. Between a day job and working for myself and I’m overwhelmed just kind of continuing to take steps forward. Believing that one day I’ll be working for myself and for the most part I can set my own hours. I don’t aim to be rich or famous. My goal is to have enough that I can relax and forget about the work outside once in a while and just sit with my family without a care in the world. Do more fishing!! Spent my life chasing a paycheck and I’m tired of it. The good life is just around the corner. I am very thankful for where I am though. • @tristardiggin

    I think you got me beat on the fire.... and y'all shouldn't make fun of my trailer deck. I'm kinda sensitive about it 🤣🤣 on a serious note. I'm glad you gave your experience with that grapple. I think that's my next investment but I was going to go with the double clamps instead of the single bar. I can see the tilt being a huge problem. Gonna have to pay attention to that when I buy one. Thanks a lot brother. Job is looking really nice! Oh yeah. I'm gonna say around 3500 pounds on that log.

      I'm going to be looking for a new grapple too. The double clamp and ability to roll up is a must have for the next one.

    • @tristardiggin
      @tristardiggin  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wish I knew a secret. I would write it in a book and make millions. 🤔🤣
      I've noticed my older ones have really kicked in and getting views and subs. I saw an explanation once that said on smaller/newer youtube channels that TH-cam shows our older videos more than our newer ones. They said only the bigger channels get new videos strongly promoted when new. I've chatted with some bigger channels and asked what they did. Pretty much what I've learned is; post consistently, make each video a little better than the last one, really focus on great thumbnails and titles and then TH-cam does the rest.
      Thumbnails and titles are my least favorite thing to do but according to what I've learned they are very important in order to get folks to click and watch a video.
      You are at 1k so you are doing it right. Stats I have heard say only 20% of TH-cam channels make it to 1k.

    • @smithworx1091
      @smithworx1091 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Tristar Diggin' good advice. It's hard to come up good titles that aren't click bait. I didn't know that about older videos. Makes sense though. And that makes me feel better that only 20% make it.
