I just finished this book today so I'm watching the playback now!
(1) I rated this book 5 stars - I adored it!
(2) This is my first Andy Weir book, but I LOVE The Martian movie so now I have to go back and read the book (I know - the worst bookish sin to watch the movie first LOL)
(3) I would definitely panic and idk how long it would last, but I would hope I'd be able to calm down and find answers, but I fear realizing I'm alone would be too much for me
(4) It was the same way for me as it was for Liv, I felt more confident and that I was able to understand the science at the beginning, but the further we got in, the more I struggled which caused me to skim those paragraphs some
(5) The Astrophage threat is definitely most related to climate change
(6) Loved loved loved Rocky!
(7) I would have hope that we would, but it's hard to imagine
(8) The communication aspect / learning the language reminded me of Arrival

I’m so glad you loved the book! I think Rocky is all our favorite character now 🥹 Oh yes I forgot about Arrival, I’ll have to give that another watch. Good pull! 😄
