Summer is so pretty. She played her role exceptionally well.
Felt so bad for SUMMER for enduring so much pain & torture for nothing. On the other hand when the series unfolds FREDERICK's character was also getting clearer & the reason behind his cold behaviour. The only thing that saddened me was Summer's sufferings which she had to go through since the start & Frederick continuously offended her in the name of her mother 🤬 But loved the thrill, especially the unwrapped emotions of Frederick & his love for Summer was indeed attractive but wish he had treated her well since the beginning 😢 Thanks for bringing up this story ❤
I recently got into these kinds of drama I loved how the main male lead acted so tough but could cry when it came to his lady love leaving. At first I was unsure about these because he came off so hard then u realize he has a heart of gold under there and he’s just a lost boy who is trying to avenge his mom’s death. I loved the main female as well as the guy who plays his security guard. They did a good job. The main male lead though he just captured my full attention he was like the beast from the classic fairy tale everything he does is for a reason even if you don’t understand it he is thinking with his heart

Morale of the story - make sure you have all your facts before you decide to torment an innocent family member of the person you've got a grudge against. We see him and his secretary investigating around midway point - why didn't you do this in the beginning, buddy? Seeking justice is ok, but this revenge stuff hurts you and everyone around you. Nevertheless, I couldn't hate this guy - he was too intense, too obviously obsessed with FL. I wish these SFLs would respect themselves for once and stop obsessing over men who don't give a rat's rear end for them. And tell me, how do these villains know when and where to find these people so they can run them over? Did Brother Ji just sit in the parking garage waiting for FL/ML to show up? 🙄

This drama the main point here is hatred that caused violence but the fact is he loved her truly 💕 from the beginning even if he found out that her father was the one who murdered his mom even if it isn't true but still he loved her and also her Loved him 💕 I love the FL lead and the ML lead is also good at what he is doing enjoyed this ❤❤❤❤

I saw many versions of the same story. Kept her for revenge for mother's death/or was drugged to marry her, then falls in live with her, and doesn't want to let her go. She accepts sex slave contract for money/ or forces him to marry her to use him or satify some obession but eventually falls in love with him. Some are more abusive, others less. But at the end of the day it all starts to go excessive when the contract is about to end

I think it might be because chinese society is still very patriarcal because even in big chinese dramas the woman has always got to submit to the male interest's wishes one way or another, subtle forms of abuse or superiority against female characters (most of the time portrayed either as fragile innocent person or like evil temptresses, no middle measures) are always there if you watch closely. The important thing while watching is being aware of it I think.
